10 Words Or Less
Hey, all!
As the title implies, the challenge here is to make a card whose text box contains ten or fewer words of rules text. I can't STOP you from making a Grizzly Bears with your ten favorite keywords, but this is largely judged based on creativity; how game-changing an effect can you make with only ten words? Flavor text doesn't count against the limit, obviously, so that's another good thing to have. Numbers or groups of numbers, i.e. +1/+3, 2, etc. count as one word, and mana symbols and reminder text like Suspend's doesn't count.
For examples, look at

But I will tell you. This is a very complicated card, most effective in Conspiracy Draft, with nice flavor text, and for all I know, even @Ningyounk hasn't understood how this card works. Do you get it? If you can't, just ask me. Can anyone else get it?
Here is how the card works: The board is leaning to your side, but you don't feel comfortable. You believe your opponent can still stand a chance, but you aren't sure. You have the better side, but your opponent isn't going to die easily and if he drags it out long enough, cause you have Aggro, he might win. So, you cast Covenant, and of course, your opponent will agree. After all it appears you were winning. Little does he know, you still have those Aggro creatures in your hand.
^That is just one example. Tell me if you need another.
Here! It uses a mechanic from unhinged, that fits this contest perfectly.
I dunno. I just like the art.
The perfect card for any jeskai or izzet deck. "I can counter your spells, but you can't counter mine haha"
When Spell Hoarder is turned face-up, you may change a target of target aura spell to it."

Before we can be respected, we have to respect ourselves.
I agree with @MrRansom
That's actually a really good card. You should give yourself some credit! I know several of my friends who run elf decks that would kill for that card.
HAH! EXACTLY 10 WORDS!
The goal of this card is to completely change the machnics of the game. People must change choices about attacking and defending, because nothing dies.
The goal here is to get an as many creatures to attack as possible while holding up a steady defense. Each players attack step becomes more difficult as they decide what to block with so that they have a chance of blocking everything.
Things that get increased viability with this card is haste, which undermines your opponents blocking choices, trample, which deals damage even if your creature is blocked, and any sort of evasion (flying, intimidate, menace, skulk).
Things that become useless or at least harder to play are removal spells (GEE I DONT KNOW WHY) ,and stally and defensive creatures, which make it much harder to deal damage to opponents with.
The reason the +3/+0 effect was added was to both discourage an unfair disadvantage to a stally opponent while benefiting the main player and to make the card red, making it harder for people to play and making the card less overpowered.
woo yay hope u like it

This aims to use a fairly niche design space to effectively get rid of everything, however some passive effects (ie. Sulphuric Vortexes stapled to creatures) become immensely difficult to deal with without a true wrath. Pardon me for the rather shaky formatting, it's over a year since I've actually designed anything myself.
still 10 words, if you don't count flavor text or reminder text
Simple as that . Design based on the recent Conspiracy draft spoilers.
I would just copy Covenant, then you don't cast the spell but the copy and nobody has to agree first (same reason prowess doesn't trigger on copies).
A two sided card, with 7 total words.

There's a story to it that we all probably know already:
Turn one: Ophelia, pure and harmless shows up to enchant everyone for a single white mana.
Turn two: You drown Ophelia with two blue mana (don't worry, she will pray for your sins), rousing vengeful brother Laertes (glaring at you for your part in the whole drowning thing).
Turn three: Laertes broods for three black mana, finding the unction of a mountebank to anoint his sword.
Turn four: Laertes skulks through for 10 poison counters. Just one damage, but, as you may recall, no cataplasm so rare can save the thing from death that is but scratched withal.
And so in good bardic fashion everyone dies in the end. However, it takes a bunch of mana of 3 colors, and your opponent can see it coming four turns away, giving them plenty of time to wriggle out of their part in this 4 act tragedy.
I want to see this card printed so that there might come a time when someone announces that they are going to drown Ophelia, and someone else steps in first and lightning bolts her. Poor thing.
Huzzah!
