Create a common-closed
I Feel like everyone just likes making mithics and rares. so for a change of pace, i want people to make a common card. you have 3 entries which you can edit ll you want. be creative, and if it is too overpowered you lose XD
MAKE SURE YOUR CARDS AREN'T OVERPOWERED PLS at least not obviously.

you forgot to make it a creature
@strongbelieves Onset of corruption doesn't seem common
all others are good though
omg I finally got the picture thing to work. This is already a win for me haha
I originally thought that too, however, you are giving an opponent a free spell in five turns. Plus, the concept is based loosely off of another common counter, which is spell shrivel (http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=Spell+Shrivel). Even though spell shrivel can be stopped, it also exiles the spell if it resolves right. Both are {2}{u}. Both provide an instant counter, but both have a small drawback; spell shrivel might not actually counter and defile gives your opponent a free spell in five turns. That was my reasoning behind the cost
ok. thanks for the explantion
One of my favorite cards, but u/b seemed the best mana cost.

Akaroen said "i want people to make a common card." Not "show me"..
You guys already have many cards. So this contest is probably easy for you. I'm sorry, but to me it looks like you are robbing winning place from new people. But probably because I know you have won many contests(Sorry if you don't know that). I know you want more feedbacks for those old cards and that can be a reason we can submit old cards. So I don't know how to stop people submitting old cards.. but I just feel sorry for new people.
@Akaroen I think this is a kind of contest "only new cards" clause should be put:( This contest is easy for people who have 300+ cards. But it's too late. This is just my idea; making another winner's place for new cards.
Also, one obvious way to stop people from submitting old cards is to have specific rules explaining that only new cards are allowed (cards made after a certain date). I'll stop using my old cards for this challenge. In fact, I'll stop entering contests all together so that way I definitely can't rob new people of winning place. I'm on hiatus from contests until further notice. I mean another hiatus, since I just took about three months off recently.
Thanks for understanding me:) Those cards are great btw. Two of them are in CS17 set.
Nice cards however there's a 3 entry max
I've never said superb cardsmiths shouldn't enter contests. I just think if they enter contests, they should challenge too. Posting old cards isn't challenging at all.
Oh I know, that part of the comment was directed to MrRansom. I don't want him to drop out of contests and I really don't want other superb card smiths to follow that lead. I want them all to keep participating
Me neither. But they aren't participating to this contest from the first place. They just showed us their great cards. That's how I think.
