Winner Is The Judge #4- Cutting Corners
General Rules:
1). The judge cannot participate in the current contest or the next contest (This is to prevent the same people from winning all the time).
2). Each contest starts on Monday 12:01am Central Time (-6:00) and ends Saturday 11:59 Central Time (-6:00). This leaves a week for contestants to post their entries and a day for the judge to decide the winner(s).
3). Each person may enter TWO cards per challenge.
This week's iteration of the challenge is all about cutting corners. Generally, this means that you get an effect for a cheaper price than you should, but you have to sacrifice some effectiveness. Good examples of this are Deathmark, an undercosted kill spell that only works on green or white creatures, or Char, a burn spell that hurts you as well as its target. The other kind of corner cutter is a spell that is undercosted all the time, but sometimes works against you; a good example of this is Ruhan of the Fomori, a 7/7 for 1WUR, but one that attacks a random player each turn. It's important to distinguish this from cards that simply require you pay a cost, like Attrition. This kind of card can be very hard to balance, so If you like, I can provide feedback on any cards made here. Just tag me (@Beeswax) if that's what you'd like. Best of luck, Cardmakers! (Bonus points for funny flavor text; this kind of card lends itself to it.)

EDIT:
I know you said the undercosted part should be distinguished from an additional cost part, but I feel that one black mana is extremely light, especially compared to the original tutor and every other tutor.
I didn't explain that particularly well. What I mean by that is that cards like Bone Splinters don't have a drawback (no corners cut); they just have a non-mana cost. I'm looking for cards that have distinct drawbacks (like Char), not for cards that have part of their mana cost converted into something else, like life or creatures. Your card is totally fine.
Simple doublemana land with a board-disadvantage drawback.
