X-01, Sentient Creator Planeswalker Thoughts

Hey this is my first discussion as a Cardsmith, and I was wanting some criticism on a card I made.

The reason i made this card is I saw a void of no one mana planeswalkers. I chose to make this card as a card that can be played on any turn and in pretty much any deck. I'm not quite sure if it's overpowered, being a thopter and artifact engine, but there wasn't much I could find to compare it to. I would love your thoughts on the card and thoughts on how I could balance it or make it better.

P.S. I'm the kind of person that tries to make cards as real looking as possible, and have text terminology/layout that matches a real card so if you can comment on any textual errors it would be much appreciated.

    1. Mana cost doesn't look that good (but this is only visuals).
    2. Robots can't be planeswalkers.
    3. Planeswalkers can't be rare.
    4. First ability is "Put X loyalty counters on X-01, Sentient Creator.
    5. First ability is better as "+X: blah blah blah"
    6. Second and third ability have obsolete wording. The new wording is "Create a blah blah blah."
    7. The whole card is pretty useless in all formats.
    8. The card isn't worth it's mana cost, if you do the math.
    9. The card has no defense, making it very vulnerable.
    10. The card really is terrible in playing.
    11. Other than that, the card is perfect.

    I'm working right now to try and make the card semi playable. I still may stick with a Thopter ability or replace it with a servo ability for Kaladesh. I understand robots can't be Planeswalkers, but it makes me wonder why they included an artifact layout if it isn't possible. A question for the Cardsmith gods I presume

    Ok so I tried to make him semi playable and his ultimate kinda makes him a bomb if you have the right cards. Thanks everyone for helping and i'm happy I can forge a semi decent card.

    @Faiths_Guide, Golems and robots are different. Golems can have a conscience. Robots cannot.

    And you know X-01 is not a Golem cause how? He, like Karn, could very easily be a constructed Golem.

    @Faiths_Guide, No golem would go by the name X-01. Plus, does he look like a golem?

    The difference between golems and robots grows arbitrary in these circumstances. Karn, like a robot, is made of metal. Karn, like a robot, was to serve a specific purpose.

    I just wanted to make a few points about the argument and explain some things.

    Karn became a Planeswalker because he was given the ability to ignite his spark through Urza, so could X-01 not have a spark ignited or have that ability transferred to him somehow?
    The only reason Karn has that name is because a mentor of his gave it to him, he didn't have one originally except for being called Arty Shovelhead. Shovelhead was meant as an insult instead of a real name so he was elected Karn which means 'Strong' in Thran.
    Also the reason his name is X-01 is because its my first discussion (01) and it represents the original mana cost I chose (X and One Colorless.) Plus I just couldn't think of a decent name.
    Also to make him seem more transformed than an artifact I chose to change his name to Artifact Unbound.
    My final point is why is it bad to venture into something new? Is that not what a majority of the forums in Cardsmith are about?

    Sorry for the long rant but i'm kinda sad it strayed from the actual card to an argument on the name and if it should be an existing thing.

    You can make Pikachu a planeswalker if you wanted to. That's pretty much exactly what Cardsmith is about. Some people have a much more purist view on what a Magic card should be, but this site is here so that you can make a Robot Planeswalker named X-01 if you like... or maybe even turn a flower into something more...
