Make Your Own Planeswalker Deck Cards
Hello fellow Cardsmiths! I had a neat idea for a contest like a month ago, but I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to act on it, plus I was a little intimidated by hosting my first contest. But hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Let's do it!
First, an introduction: as an accessory product with the release of Kaladesh, WotC came out with Planeswalker decks. The decks are mostly comprised of cards from the concurrent set, but with four unique additions:
1. A mythic Planeswalker card of an existing character.
2. A rare Sorcery card that searches your library for the aforementioned Planeswalker.
3. An uncommon Creature card that gets a benefit if you control a Planeswalker of the relevant subtype.
4. A common card of any type that doesn't related directly to the Planeswalker, but fits with the theme of that character.
My contest, as you may have guessed, is as follows: make your own cards that fit these criteria for another planeswalker!
Here are the formal rules:
1. Choose an existing Planeswalker character, besides Chandra or Nissa. Jace, Gideon, Karn, Ob Nix, Daretti, Tibalt, Kiora, whoever. Dead characters (e.g. Venser, Elspeth) are okay. Characters who were known to be walkers, but never got a card (e.g. Serra) are okay as well. For example, I might pick Vraska.
2. Either make a new Planeswalker card for that character card or choose a pre-existing card for that character around which you'll base your other cards. So I would either make a new Vraska card, or choose Vraska the Unseen.
3. With your Planeswalker selected, make the rare, uncommon, and common cards that fit all the rules above and are suited to your chosen walker. So I might make a rare sorcery that destroys a nonland permanent and then searches for Vraska the Unseen, an uncommon Gorgon creature that gains deathtouch if you control Vraska, and a common Vraska-themed kill spell.
Judging:
This is mostly for fun, so I'll be dropping favorites on any cards that I like, but there will also be two individual awards:
1. The first shall be for the best original Planeswalker card, if you choose to make one.
2. The second shall be for the best overall submission, considering the three other cards.
Cards for both awards will be judged based on balance, creativity, and adherence to the themes of the chosen Planeswalker.
The two winners will receive a follow (if I'm not already following them), and five favorites, available upon request.
Deadline:
I think we'll set a deadline of two weeks, so that would be Sunday, November 6. Feel free to edit or resubmit cards before then.

Additional rules:
1. You are not bound to specific colors. If you think you have a good concept for a black Kiora card, go for it. Likewise, the other cards may be whatever colors you think appropriate. The strength of your themes are most important for this one.
2. One submission per person for this contest. If you've got more ideas, we can always do this again!

Too good. This would be used in standard.
"But that doesn't mean it's OP!" I here you say. But it means it will be too expensive. Having all those cards exclusively in those planeswalker decks makes them harder to obtain. Wizards made the planeswalkers and all the cards that work with them to be trash. This Garruk, however, would be used in Standard, and, possibly, Modern.
This would cause the $14.99 planeswalker decks to spike, with the sudden price boost of the Garruk. Since the decks are the only place you could get Garruk, you could expect the planeswalker to go to perhaps $40-$50, maybe?
That is not the purpose of planeswalker decks. Planeswalker decks are, quite simply, made to be s*** ('Scuse my french). They are made so no experienced players, and only the 'noobs' want to obtain them, since they only feature bulk.
These are definitely too good for printing in a Planeswalker deck, but I didn't ask for realistic printable cards as much as adherence to a theme. Since we're not worried about warping Standard, I've got no problem with higher power levels.
There was nothing said about the challenge trying to keep the power level similar to the existing planeswalker decks. I was just told to create four cards according to certain criteria, which I did. Yes, when I was making the cards I was perfectly aware that they would be too good if Wizards were to print them in a decklist together, but I was more focused on the challenge and less so about the logistics of the real-world Magic economy. And hey-if I've created a card that looks Modern-playable but is still balanced, that's a win in my book.
I also don't appreciate how you've wording your comment to put words in my mouth. I'm a pretty chill guy who appreciates most critiques, but please don't insult my intelligence by assuming my response.

Ob Nixilis' Planeswalker type should be Nixilis, not Ob Nixilis, just saying! Cool cards though.
If I create a custom version of an existing walker with less/different colors than the original, to what am I restricted as far as colors for the supporting cards? Just the color(s) of my new Planeswalker?
