http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/elmar-leader-of-the-lost Possess by me ( When a creature possesses another creature, exile he possessing creature and the other creature gets +X+Y, where X is the exiled creature's power and Y is the exiled creature's toughness. When The possessed creature leaves the battlefield, return the exiled creature from exile to the battlefield.) I need help with the wording.
@obsidianhoax : WotC no longer supports regeneration, unfortunately. I'd recommend to replace regeneration with something like: "Discard a card: return Genjen, Filthfeaster to your hand."
@j2reyes : That's a really powerful creature that does a lot of things that don't actually have much in common. It's got artefact destruction (repeatable and without tapping), mana generation and infect. It's missing a common unifying theme IMO. I'd pick one of the three abilities, ditch the other two and start from scratch.
@dudemantheguy : The problem with the possession mechanic is that the possessing creature's abilities don't really work in exile. That's why morph and cipher used "face down" instead. In addition, the possession mechanic feels similar to the soulbond mechanic, which seems to do what you want to do in many ways. I'd recommend taking the soulbond wording and then working your way from that.
@onsidianhoax - Just because regeneration isn't supported anymore doesn't mean it can't be used on cards - the card looks like it's from Shadows block anyway.
@dudemantheguy - Hmm, the ability does work from exile - not to mention morph is a completely different thing, and cipher exiles it face up anyway.
Seems to be missing an equip cost! Otherwise it seems very cheap for what it does. But that's just me. If the equip cost is something like {4}, it could be balanced. Also "its" instead of "it's".
I think this is one of those cases where Mark Rosewater would advise you not to go against player expectations.
I'd probably make it a prohibitively expensive Equip cost, like Equip {10}, and raise the bonus to +5/+5 or give it Flying (to further allude to its angelic/white mana properties). That way, people would instinctively want a way to cheat it, rather than wonder what's missing from the card. :P
Xavia, as he was known when the Halls of Iron were inhabited by anceints, was a guard of the place, and a formidable enemy. If anybody even thought about breaking into the halls, a blade would be in their back the next second. Early on, he ahd only card about making sure nobody got in. But then his twisted mind had changed. Now all he wanted was power.
He kileld thousands before he was finally slain, by none other than Ajani. The leonin planeswalker left after the man's death. While Xavia's earthly from could not come back, his armor could.
His legendary Greaves, Helm, Breastplate and Sword were scattered across the multiverse, until an unknown man brought them together again in the halls of iron. United, the malice of the man who had lived in the armor took over, and the armor took a mind of its own: the mind Traxavia, Dread Reborn. While he was once only powerful, he is now unstoppable...
P.S. How do you shrink image links? It's taking up so much space...@Corwinnn can you fix it pls, and tell me how?
My entry's an interesting one: it's the first human-goblin ever to emerge into MTG.
Kigant had an outrageous affair with a boggart, which left the poor old goblin with a curious thing in her stomach. When eh creature was born, and identified as the son of Kigant, the creature was hunted out. It had to go into hiding just to survive...And now seeks to take its place as the true king!
@KimJongMartin Your cycle of Xavia has a lot of interesting pieces to it. I appreciate the nod to the Kaldra series but spicing it up with the meld flavor. A few overall thoughts - All of the equipment buffs power and only one increases toughness... by 1. The P/T boosts are generally fine but the Sword has the potential to be especially grievous. In a 4-player EDH game this is +9/+0 and first strike for 3 and 3. You would naturally expect armor pieces like the breastplate would add toughness if anything. Plus, the cycle goes 0, 2, 3, 4 with the crucial piece at 3 (this is not a necessary consideration, simply a thought on consistency). Oddly, none of these equipment are legendary which means you can stack multiple helms or greaves or whatever.
4-card meld is pretty rough, especially since you have to cast and equip them to get their 'final form.' It's a strange installment plan of 9 total to cast and 13 total to equip, provided that your creature lives through all that. If you have all the equipment on one creature, it'd have +8/+1, first strike, hexproof, haste and a litany of other miscellaneous effects. At that point I'd rather just let the creature be a horrifying voltron of effects rather than flip into an 8/6, even with double strike and trample. With no protection and no haste this is asking to get [insert removal spell here]'d pretty dang quickly. Not to mention there's really no way not to telegraph your plan.
Honestly, the last clause on Traxavia is the coolest and scariest part about it. If you do manage to get this thing together, you just turn all of your Seat of the Synods into death machines. That's neat, but I'm not convinced that the whole package is worth it.
@Gelectrode I like it! It's one of those legendary creatures that doesn't look threatening to start, and then you read through and you hope you never play against it.
I'm trying to figure out if this guy is a little undercosted. Any feedback is much appreciated:

I think I messed up the wording for the second ability, so i would love to know the correct wording so i can recreate the card.
