Inventor's Fair - Contest 1#
Hey, guys.
I have decided that I would devise a series of challenges.
These challenges will be centred around Kaladesh and Inventions - Artefacts specifically
The FIRST of these challenges will involve the creation of Gearhulks.
Rules: Please Read!
You may ONLY make (1) Gearhulk (Any additional submissions will be disregarded in favour of your first.)
You may remake your first submission anytime before the deadline ends.
Following the above, you may NOT post after the deadline ends.
Your submission must epitomise the flavour of Kaladesh and your Gearhulk's representative colours. (colour wheel)
Your Gearhulk MUST use TWO colours and use the artefact colour template.
Your Gearhulk MUST use the Kaladesh card icon.
Edit#
Try not to reuse old art or art that another has used in this competition (includes the example)
I will be assessing your spelling/grammar, as well as your use of spacing. (templating)
Your deadline is (Thursday 3rd of November - 11:59 GMT) Monday I will post the results.
Prizes:
1st - I will like (3) of your cards (I shall decide which I think is the best!)
2nd - I will like (2) of your cards
3rd - I will like (1) of your cards
I know the prize may seem a bit mundane, but once I get more familiar with the forum I might change how I do things.
Know, that I don't like cards on a whim unless it is out of courtesy. Even then, the choices are based on extreme scrutiny and so likes by me are rare.

Exciting! I love contests with flavor!
(Also I believe Gearhulks are the subtype "Construct")
A nice entry!
Seems like an interesting contest

@kltmtg29 I know I didn't say to not use another's image (I'll update the rules in a min) but it would best if you didn't use the art from my example. (Just sayin) =P Otherwise I like your Izzet idea. Izzet yours? =P
@Everyone I'm liking them so far, great work.
So Distinguished indeed.
EDIT: I just realised you have to have the artifact template for it...But why? The multicolored one looks so much better. Not to mention, on your example, it should 'can't be blocked' instead of just 'unblockable', not to mention it should just have an evergreen keyword instead of that.

To be honest, I would rather have the Gearhulks made using the template which @Ningyounk used/made, simply because that is the correct one. I suggest remaking it with the artefact template. That's the rules of this contest! Don't worry about the example, you don't have to make it like that.
PS. Keep it up, brilliant so far.
Update: Felt like the old version, a 4/2 with fabricate 2 that let you draw cards equal to power when it dies, was too broken.
=D
