I don't know where to begin. His Holiness and Alastar are awesome (eventhough I quite like His Holiness more). The idea of a false church, is amazing! And the best part is that it's not like orzhov at all, because it doesn't focus on money or anything but just power and leadership through faith. This is the perfect representation of the exploitation of faith.
And then come the cards, so many cards...honestly I did not expect you to do that! This is an amazing entry, both commander and supporting fluff cards, so lets get to it.
Devoted Youth might need a description blurb of the ability, bit other than that? Worship has me.
I love Carnage Fanatic, the art, the abilities everything, the only thing that is off is its power-level. I mean c'mon! Devout of (insert color here) is cool, but a bit too OP. I mean especially for red. Just imagine, casting several lightning bolts, shocks, etc...And imagine green...I think u should change it to only creature/noncreature spell, but overall I LOVE the second ability.
Abilities Despise, Promote, and Spoils are interesting, yet I don't know if I will be able to use them as they might be too specific. But other than that? Love the cards! The emissary too. He's really cool.
Bottom line, The entries are great, and if anything His Holiness is the best card made out of the ones you submitted. However, imma ask one thing of you...can your last submission NOT be a human? If feel like we have too many humans.
Love the cards, love the input love the effort, as usual, keep on smithing:
@Therussian58 One that plunges the table into complete anarchy as well. Have you ever had a game of Commander with Avatar of Slaughter or Warmonger Hellkite out? It's madness.
Probably my last commander? Being an elf in a metropolis is hard. Being an elf that defies your family tradition, embraces the darker modern side of this world, and becoming one of the best and most brutal Alchemist in the entire world against all odds is even harder. Holenein is the elf that achieved it with extremely high intelligence, dedication and without morality. Exploiting everyone, including his own kin, for his experiments while maintaining an elegant social status in this hedonistic nation he lives in through shady ways, he earned his reputation as the Grand Alchemist of this country. With a grand theory in mind, and enough suffer received during his ascendance, he will show no mercy and keep pushing forward with his huge criminal network and a whole research community bowed down to his will.
I will start to work on supplement cards for my commanders later.
@TrippleBoggey3 , c'mon, you can do better than that! First things off: I love the Gold mechanic, and I remember when the Theros set first came out I couldn't stop thinking about building a Midas EDH, but this just doesn't really scream gold to me. in fact, it doesn't really scream anything to me apart from no background art. That said the card is fairly balanced, yet formatted weirdly, remember, I allow remakes...
@Kinojitsu_Asahi , I love it! Awesome Flavor, and awesome usage of the trpa mechanic, ties in with the mysterious council as well, and is amazing to get what u want from vote mechanics. Love the art, love the flavor, love the card! Great Job as usual.
Everyone remember, ONLY UNTIL FRIDAY, AND THEN NO MORE COMMANDERS, AND WE MOVE ON TO SECONDARY COMMANDERS, RADICALS AND LIEUTENANTS!
Zusammen, more commonly known as The Machines, are a race of sentient robotics, forged aeons ago in a world of fire and beauty, by ancient Gods who fought for land and power much like the petty races of the modern world now do. They have survived the most violent of wars and terrible disasters that have driven other races into extinction.
But now? Now they are scared. The primitive beings they once gazed down upon with uninterested superiority are gaining power, technology, magic. It has come to the day where The Machines feel threatened, and they are lashing out, testing their great war machines against the armies of the new threat.
Their cities move with them, they are their cities. With no need for sustenance apart from the fuel that drives them, they need not of agriculture or irrigation, and thus they move together as a shifting mass, gargantuan robots housing smaller, beast-sized ones, and those hosting a colony of even smaller mechanisms. They are a robotic democracy, where votes are counted with complete accuracy, and are never swayed by campaigns or appeals, but just thought of with pure, cold logic.
While they may seem to migrate, their movements are erratic, constantly changing direction. It is unknown why they travel so. Are they chasing an ever moving target? Or just dazed and confused from rust?
One thing is known about Zusammen, you never enter one of their cities.

Hello! Thought this looked interesting so I just decided to pop in and plop my idea down. If you think it's interesting, but needs tweaks, either to gameplay or lore, I'd be happy to oblige. I realise the card has a lot of text, but I found it hard to simplify. Also, I have no idea whether it's balanced at all. So yeah, take it or leave it, and if you like it I could either make more commanders, either for the same race or a different one, or I could make cards to complement this one.
I made a rare cycle of creatures like this one, all of them have a similar ability. I can't post links to the rest of them because I'm using my phone and it's very difficult to post multiple links at once :P
@Everyone ... alright kids! Keep the cards coming but the Commander challenge is officially over...I will announce the winners as soon as possible and stay tuned for the next challenge regarding the set!
So, after days of careful deciphering of the commanders my decisions came to a conclusion, so here are the winners of the commander challenge! You commanders will be feature in the set as political power-players and ruthless marauders who roam this greedy world.
Now, without further explanations or mumbling, here are the winners:
now, you notice that 3of the 10 are not there…correct? Well that’s because i am currently asking for some cards that already have been created by users not in this challenge to be used, so stay tuned for that. But anyways, say tuned and now for the next challenge:
Make a lieutenant for each color! However, here’s the kick. Normal lieutenants are just awesome cards that combo with commanders…these ones? They are gonna be legendary creatures, and will most likely interact with the whole board…so again if anyone is interested, flood in the lieutenants and entries and lets make this happen!!!
Hmm. It would be fun to make some kind of card that encourages the kind of insane chaos Veliath causes. Or some kind of spy-flavored lieutenant for Seraphin. Or some kind of high priest to go with Daimon.
Wow, some of these commanders are really interesting from a flavor perspective. How many entries are we allowed?

How about some good old fashioned minotaur beatdowns then?
Edit: also most of those cards are from Mechanix challenges so the mechanics aren't mine. Glad you like them!
