When a child of a Khare noble comes of age, they parade through the streets of Khare wearing their finest clothing. They are, of course, heavily guarded by the military.
The shores of Khare are not necessarily the safest. The people of Khare often take a gamble going to these places.

Upon the shores are Swindlers and neer-do-wells and all is fine with the world. But beyond the shores, beyond the walls and into the Badlands may be the worst of the worst, or nothing at all. Who knows?

Using the lessons and wise teaching of her cult master, Redori, a poor girl at age 22, tries to unravel what she and her cult can do to stop some of the corruption the city is upon. Her waterspeaking, a rare gift of the gods, she had found out by talking to herself near the docks alone and the water talking back at her directly. As of recently the water has been silent leaving Redori worried about the future of Khare.
The corruption slowly consumes khare turning people into thieves. Even some of the cult members are turning to this dark side.
Slowly but surely, the city of Khare is beginning to lose its hope. The corruption taking root far beyond the reach of Khare's authorities.

Adrinia has begun spreading her influence over the city, taking the world into her own hands. She believes that she and her syndicate can lead the way where the Mayor has failed. Yet there are many obstacles that stand in her way. Her brother taking the highest priority on her list. If only she could convince him to see things her way. A meeting in the Red Quarter may be the only way.
Adrinia's influence has caused some to be worried for those who have not been consumed by her syndicate's beliefs even to the point of hiring other criminals and assassins, Celawe is one of many.
