How do you get your cards to get noticed if you put a lot of work into them...

I try so hard for 99% of my cards, only for them to be completely unnoticed and flooded out by half-assed cards with horrible grammar, text, wording, and everything, I just want my cards to be noticed for more than a second :/

    Well, I'd recommend making friends, participating in contests, throwing favourites on other people's stuff, it's what I do. :)

    @EmeraldRage - Well, the easiest way is to enter your cards into as many contests as possible. Anyone who is holding a contest is going to look at your card. I would suggest also giving advice and opinions to people on their cards.

    I saw your Ara'ki, but it seemed confusing to me so I didn't leave any feedback on it. The wording is also a bit strange.

    It can be useful to ask other 'smiths for feedback. Most users on the site are helpful and if they're not too busy they'll respond to private messages. Recognition takes time and some degree of prolificacy - keep putting yourself out there!

    I definitely agree with the contest idea! For one, they give some good ideas for cards, and a lot of people go to that thread and look at them.

    Another thing I will say is that more often than not, it takes some time to establish recognition, just as DomriKade said above. It wasn't until I hit about 250 made cards that I really "took off" and had more cards get noticed. But don't worry! As long as you keep it up, more and more people will start to notice your work :)

    Make contests, compete in contests, give feedback, favorite lots of cards, *TRY* to be nice + make friends.
    All these things I've done and I think it's worked.
