I feel like we all like at least a couple of the guilds, not just one. It might be really fun if we could all each join 2 guilds? Maybe to keep it a little more organized we have to stick with the guilds we choose?? @Rednaxela??
I'd have trouble picking a second one though since I'd have to actually choose between Simic and Gruul! The tied for second coolest guilds of all time! go Dimir!!!!
Okay, I'll try to come up with something a little consistent for Azorius, if anyone wants to brainstorm, I propose we focus on "tapping matters" and find an actual mechanic with it (I was thinking a Keyword ability that cares about permanents you don't control being tapped, so you could punish people for tapping to attack you, and synergize with freeze effects and cards like Thalia, Heretic Cathar that go super well in White/Blue.)
For now I have this one old card that doesn't exactly fit this theme but still could work for Azorius in this archetype (you could freeze it yourself, that would be a twist ;p)
EDIT 14/01 : I REMOVE THIS ENTRY SEE ON PAGE 5 FOR MY NEWENTRIES
I'm going to start scoring the first 2 pages already to make it easier for me at the end (Whenever that might be), so if you remake or remove any cards from one of the first 2 pages let me know so I can change the score. Scores will not be released, they are just so I can get a team average.
After the Simic was restructured for Return to Ravnica block, they began to call the old leader of the guild, Momir Vig, an extremist. The restructured Simic Combine stopped using Cytoplasts (The Goopy Globe Things on Original Simic Creatures), and started to combine creatures through purely magical means. However, a group of renegade simic wished to go back to the days of Cytoplasts, and created the cult of Vig. Then, something extrordinary happened: Novijen, the original simic guild hall, was re-discovered by the cult of Vig. Inside, they discovered the Body of Momir Vig, who was alive, albiet in a coma, after he had been thought to be dead for centuries. Momir was being kept alive by the last Cytoplast remaining after the explosion of Experiment Kraj. The Cult of Vig was able to heal Momir and awaken him from his coma.
The cult informed Momir that he has been labeled as an extremist by the new Simic Rulership, and that he will not be able to wrest control of the guild without a fight. Momir Vig Restructured the Cult of Vig into the Neo-Simic Amalgamate and named himself Chairman.
The Amalgamate's first goal was to restart Cytoplast production, and do it quick enough so that the mother guild (The Simic Combine) would not have enough time to respond to the Amalgamate...
...And thats where my cards start. I wanted the Neo-Simic to feel like a combination of the Simic from Original Ravnica and the Third Reich (Nazis. After all, the Third Reich's values are simmilar to that of Momir Vig.) I wanted to design a mechanic for a group who felt like a mix of both.
The old Simic mechanic, called Graft, for those of you who don't know, involved moving a single counter to a creature as it entered the battlefield. Graft was supposed to feel like you were spreading Cytoplasts to new beings who did not already have them (In most cases) I designed a new mechanic called Counterflux to feel somewhat like this, but different.
Counterflux does the following: Counterflux X COST (Move X counters from this creature onto another target creature)
Here are two examples:
Counterflux is supposed to feel like the Neo-Simic are sharing their Cytoplasts with each-other, rather than imposing it on others (Only while they are building their numbers and gaining power, of course).
An interesting note, the Neo-Simic can move any type of counter to any creature (Except those with Hexproof and Shroud). This means that -1/-1 and Charge (And other types) of counters can be given away... for a cost.
The Neo-Simic needed a guildmage in their new-old Guildhall of Novijen.
Novijen Guildmage is completely different from every other guildmage, not only in mana cost (It costs 1 more to cast) but in ability activation cost (All of the Ravnica Guildmages use either one color or two color activation costs, Novijen Guildmage's can be used with either mono or multi-colors.) I feel he is fitting for this Third-Reich Esque Group.
Finally, we have the Fhü- I mean, Chairman, himself, Momir Vig!
I wanted to make a card that had simmilar abilitied to the Original Momir Vig, but played differently. (After all, they potray the same character!) I did this by using the Counterflux Mechanic in a way that embodied the original Momir Vig.

Those Orzhov, those Izzet, are they not the broad sinful roads?
Those Izzet do not strive for harmony, do not long for peace, do not bless for prosperity, are they not those who shall be soon destroyed for their arrogance.

@TrippleBoggey3 But isn't the very cycle of life itself the greatest balance to ever exist? The knowledge that when you fade away, you will feed the next generation of life?
I wanted to create one of the Obzedat with an ability that somewhat resembled the original haunt ability from Guildpact, but without the confusing terminology. Maybe he needs some kind of protection?
