Quick question! For the prizes when you say "favorites" is that on a card of our choice, or the one(s) we put in for the contest?

@CheapQuester the favorites can be for any cards you choose. Or you can ask me to choose, and then I would look through your cards and favorite the proper number.

I'll probably favorite most of the entries from the winning teams as well, but those favorites aren't part of the prizes.

This contest will end at the end of the month sometime. Let's just say Jan 31 for now.
So, if you are on one of the three teams with a lot of members (Izzet, Dimir, Orzhov) Now would be the time to look at your team's cards and give feedback. Because remember, one bad card can really bring down the team's average. Also, If you are on one of these teams and feel that your card could use some improvements, it would be a good idea to @ one of your teammates and ask for help.

If you are alone on a team and want help, feel free to @ me or someone else and ask for help.

@DeliciousFries Cool cards! @modnation675 left a really helpful comment on one of them that is applicable to both of them I think. You really should update them! Otherwise you're worse than deadweight apparently!! ;D ;D

Let me know if you need any help with editing/remaking them! I'm not the best at rules and stuff but I can ask some cool people I know.

So here are my entries for Boros.

My main goal was to work with the existing Ranks and Lore given by salvation.

Boros Battleseraph

A member of the Warriors Angels, the lowest power band representing Angels. His body is meant to represent a „simple“ soldier amongst the celestials. His ability shows the inspiration the presence of an angel amongst mortals can induce.

Section Commander Gates

Section Commanders are the second highest ranking officers within the League of Wojek. One of the ten section commanders is in charge for each district of the city. They and each Boros member with a higher Power Band are eligible of activating the Sentinel Titans. As with Section Commanders there is one Sentinel within each district. I wanted to pick up this cool feature and thought it would be most fitting to give it to him, since every position above has more outstanding features. With his remaining abilities and body i wanted to represent the combat expertise they have gained over time, while maintaining their indirect role in the law enforcement.

Embermage Apprentice

I wanted to do a common as well and the Embermages appealed to me, so i made a version of their students. I kinda like the idea of team working as it is a rather consistent theme within the Boros Legion.

Sparkborn Veteran

I came across the artwork on this one and due to the heavily worn look of the armory, i wanted to make a somewhat long living version of Spark Troopers.

The Next two cards share the same rank, yet they follow two different paths. Commandos are somewhat the elite warriors of the Boros Army. In real cards the mintaur versions are by far more cool, so i did some humans filling this rank.

Steelback Commando

This guys is the creature version of Ride Down, i just love the spell and i thought it would be very nice to implement it into Boros, by using one of their key mechanics.

Reinforcing Commando

This one is nothing to special, just a not so basic human soldier, buffing the endurance of most of your guys.

Patrol the Streets

Another one i went from an artwork i found to be nice. A cool comeback card, while remaining within the outline WotC has given to Boros, Soldiers and Radiance.

Fiery Judgement

A slightly hosed removal, which is rather strong on the right targets, but not too weak in other tasks.

Hall of Honor

I wanted to make a Land as they give some other options to go with, especially as you can create a place with spiritual meaning. Im not sure if the Mana ability is too strong, given you need to fulfill a requirement, but 2 mana ist somewhat hefty.

For remaking Dimir Envoy, if you'd rather, you could just comment on the card any changes you think need to be made on it and I'll remake it. Just to spread the "work" a little. (if you call making magic cards for fun work!)

Just so everyone is aware, I've double checked with those more knowledgeable and verified that multiple instances of "Unleash" aren't redundant.

A creature with "Unleash, unleash" would ETB with zero, one, or two +1/+1 counters at it's controller's discretion.
