#1 Video Game challenge: Create a card based off a video game you love.
What is this contest about:
The point of this contest is to prove which one of these famous video games are the best. Create a card for whichever one is your favorite. The list of games includes but is not limited to:
CALL OF DUTY - GEARS OF WAR - WORLD OF WARCRAFT - MARIO - POKEMON - METAL GEAR - HALO - LEFT FOR DEAD - BIOSHOCK - UNCHARTED - RATCHET AND CLANK - FINAL FANTASY - METROID - MORTAL COMBAT - STARCRAFT - MINECRAFT - SHADOW OF THE COLLOSUS - GOD OF WAR - DARK SOULS - RESIDENT EVIL - UNDERTALE - LEGEND OF ZELDA - KINGDOM HEARTS - BORDERLANDS - CIVILIZATION - MONSTER HUNTER - FIRE EMBLEM - WORLD OF TANKS - COMMAND AND CONQUER - THE ELDER SCROLLS - HALF LIFE - 7 GRAND DAD??? - THE WITCHER - OVERWATCH - LOTR GAMES - AGE OF EMPIRES - PROTOTYPE

Rules:
1. Two entries per smith
2. Only new entries
3. You may edit and/or change your entry at any time before final judging is posted
4. This contest ends in one week. FEB 17
Rewards:
Honorable mentions will be posted to The Ultimate Showdown - Ongoing!!!!!
The winner gets the satisfaction of proving that their favorite video game is one worth taking the time to play.

@Faiths_Guide Minecraft mobile sounds awful. Have you played any good games? Maybe Legend of Zelda? adding that to the list
Ya, never claimed it was good. Then again I think all the games you listed (including Zelda) sound pretty awful...
I've played Halo since I was 3 so, I'm a huge Halo fan.
Other than that, I just play World of Tanks.
EDIT: Actually Fire Emblem cards would be cool too. Might do that instead.
Lol! Really? Just at the name huh? It's true that there are a plethora of games that aren't really worth anyone's time, but then there are games that are truly works of art, just as much as any movie can be called art. The biggest difference is that all video games take more than 2 hours to experience.

Ahhhh yes, Civilization 5. One of the best games ever made. While many of you might have thought I would make A Bidoof, the Pokémon series are not even in my top 5 favorite games! Civilization 5, however, remains to this day one of my favorite games. It is so good, in my opinion, that it even beats it's successor Civilization 6 (for now).
The Winged Hussar is Poland's unique unit (meaning only they can build it), that replaces the Lancer. Whenever it deals more damage to a unit in combat then it took, it pushes the unit back by one tile. I emulated that ability by tapping the creature and forcing it not to untap during it's controler's next untap step.
The ability to pump the Hussar and give it Flanking when you control another Hussar was based on the game's unit flanking bonus.

From Command and Conquer, Red Alert 2. My favourite RTS game of all time and have been playing it for 12+ years. The game is simple in its design, from basic faction specific units to micro managing resources. The stories are kinda zany, but fun and tank spamming is a legit strategy.

As my entry, I give you Lau-Shan Lung, a gargantuan dragon from Monster Hunter. Probably the most recognizable monster besides Rathalos and Fatalis, Lau-Shan Lung was an online boss in the first ever Monster Hunter game. It is one of the biggest monsters in the game, and is known to simply ignore hunters attacking it. I tried to emulate this in the card, which I'm quite happy with.

Salvador the Gunzerker from Borderlands 2. Themed around dual-wielding Equipment, and being as aggressive as possible.
Yea, Minecraft was just the first game that really let you create your own world to that extent. It just desperately needs a story.
