@Animist Thank you for the welcome! I'm also sorry for overlooking the instant/sorcery restriction; I fixed up the card a bit to work as an instant, though.
Thanks everyone for your cards. This contest is now closed for judging and I will try to post the results as soon as possible - hopefully within a few days.
Thanks for all your entries. Before I announce the winners, I should state that, for each entry, I judged the card, not the cardsmith. Here are the winners:
Cool idea and I like that it seems balanced by its dependency on what your opponent is fielding. I say 'seemed' because I can't really think of any synonyms so it would probably require testing to be sure. I can imagine this easily being a total blowout in Grixis control.
Similarly reliant on what your opponent is fielding. The sort of card where you have to try to keep yourself from grinning as your opponent puts down yet more of their stupid elves. I *think* this could be be {1}{b}{b} but I'm not entirely sure. Either way, very interesting design.
I love the flavour and the flavour text here, though I think the wording of the flavour text could be tweaked a bit. It would be interesting to see how this affects the game when people know it's coming. My only criticism is I don't see the rationale for not giving it a mana cost since it isn't a throwback to an OP spell as was the case with the Ancestral Vision, Restore Balance, Lotus Bloom etc. cycle. It could just as well be costed at {4}{u}{u} and given suspend. But cool card nonetheless. (actually another tweak might be to make it Suspend 2 rather than Suspend 3)
Perhaps I'm wrong but this feels just a little underpowered to me. Perhaps it could be X plus 1 damage? I really like the fact that you can calibrate the amount of damage that best suits you but it seems a pretty steep price to pay unless you're doing the whole Crucible of Worlds / Life from the Loam thing. Also it should be worded as: "As an additional cost to cast Volcanic Hail, sacrifice X lands.

Thanks again for all your entries. As with all contests, this is all just the opinion of the judge and these just happened to be the cards I liked most.
@superman101 - I believe the Reactivation Challenge mantle passes to you now!
@Animist Woah. Wave of Reckoning huh? I had no idea that thing even existed. Guess I should've searched for similar (or identical) cards! Thanks Animist! Congrats @Winners and other @Mentionables!
Sorry, just a clarification, does it have to affect all creatures no matter what, or can it affect, e.g., all creatures except for one or except for a certain type of creature?
Wohoo, thanks @Animist for choosing my card as the 2nd place and for hosting the challenge As always, just choose some cards you like from my collection that you haven't favorited yet

Entry uno!
Thanks for your entry and welcome to the site!
Unfortunately your entry doesn't qualify as I'm only looking for instants or sorceries. But feel free to amend / make something else!

Honourable Mentions
Despondency by @Faiths_Guide

Well presented but it's just a more expensive Wave of Reckoning. Though one could argue it suits red better.
Sting of the Swarm by @MrRansom

I like the fact that it's doing something off-colour in a very in-colour way. Just wish it had better art.
Volcanic Hail by @Plasma

Done. Thanks again for supporting your local reactivation challenge.
Has to affect all creatures. I originally asked the same in regards to the following card!
Whirling Flame
