@ASubtleGhost, I think I get the idea of Squirrowl, but it may require some clarification:
• Instead of 'You may cast instant and sorceries exiled that way for {u} until end of turn', I would phrase it as 'You may cast instant and sorcery spells exiled this way for an additional {u}
• I would simply make the card 1UG. Hybrid cards, although they look pretty, have to include both aspects of two colors, not a mix of one and another. Does that make sense?
I think the card could potentially be broken, especially if used in UR Storm. For that reason, I would add Green mana to it to make it more restrictive.
@Faith's_Guide Yeah, that makes a lot more sense than the original and looks a lot nicer than the current one. I would've changed it sooner, but I've been playing Hearthstone for the past two days straight, pretty much. Well, gonna go change it again...
Nice card. I think "each" should be used in place of "every". And I don't think enchantments tap for mana. They usually modify lands, or add it directly to you pool. So maybe something like an aura with "enchanted land has" and then the card ability. I'm not sure but I don't think that last ability works as worded, but to get it to work it would be clunky. "Add X mana to your mana pool where X is the number of instants and/or sorcery cards in your graveyard divided by two, rounded down." is the best I could come up with.
Hey, newbie to cardsmithing here. Came across this site a couple of days ago, and I've always wanted to have a go at making custom cards. Here's a few of my more interesting cards so far:
@Gelectrode Ya, but right now it feels really weak? I guess you could sorcery an untapped land they had up for a counter spell, save mana for whatever you actually wanted to play, and hope that the flip is in your favor for a little extra bonus?
It just doesn't seem like something a land destruction player would even run. Or really any deck.
Where did you design it to fit and how did you think it'd be used?
Hi hi hi, I'm new to the forum, cool. I've been making specifically legendary creatures that I would want to play as a commander in EDH at some point, and was hoping for some feedback on one I'm working on now. I put 'em all in a set: http://mtgcardsmith.com/user/Rednose47/sets/19357
The one I'm working on right now is this guy:
I wanted to make a Jund Loam-Style Commander, but not something that forces you into that (that's generally how I tried to make all my legends, with the exception of a few). Anyway, if y'all have any thoughts, lemme know plz. i.e. if he's undercosted, tramples too strong, etc. Cool cool thank you :^)
Really cool potential commander! Flavor is spot on. The only thing I would change is the name, aside from the 'v1.0' I just think it needs more description. My personal suggestion would be "Buulan-Delkhiin, the Gravetwister."
@DoctorPond, looks cool. Reminds me of Phylactery Lich. Maybe make the Horcrux activated ability a sorcery-speed ability, to prevent you from infinity halving your life total to keep your Horcruxes. And remember! You can put Horcruxes in living things too!

Could it perhaps be switched to an instant?

I dunno.
Just something I had lying around.
It's a couple weeks old, though.
I love the idea for the provoke mechanic.
