Non english cards

Hello all,
Is there a way to create a card using non english language, for example russian? I was trying to do this and got messed characters instead of russian letters.

    As far as I know that isn't possible. What method did you use?

    Yes, looks like this. I just used general web UI and enter russian text into the text fields. When I generated card I saw a messed characters. I guess it is very easy to fix, developers just have to use a font which supports foreign letters. It will be a great feature)

    They're considering different fonts. Although they have some other features they need to implement first.

    @rjbuster - My suggestion involves a little work, because the font MTGCardsmith uses does not support Russian characters.

    Make the card with the art only, and save the card to your computer. Then use something like Adobe Photoshop or even Microsoft Word to create a text overlay in the text box area, save and print... Voila! Cards in Russian!

    Or..... Magic Set Editor. This is nice because you can easily do colored artifacts, fuse cards, transforming cards, dual lands with proper frames, it's all there. And I think it will probably do Russian.

    Yeah, I could use Photoshop or whatever, but it requires a lot of additional work. And I already checked Magic Set editor, it doesnt support russian too( Well, maybe someday there will be a way to create russian cards w/o additional stuff.

    Have you checked the MSE forums? They have a lot of add-ons available for download there.

    Yes, there is a way to use russian alphabet. But I like cardsmitth, it is more usefull.
