Set In progress (Long Reign the Queen)

Im starting to build a set based around Kazetsubaki, a 'Mad' Queen ruling her kingdom, and her key staff fighting besides her while terrorizing the commoners. It's heavy on legend's which no one really loves (Kamagawa) but im digging the flavor so far. I got some new keywords up in here. Proxy, Command, Ignite and Preload. I'd like some constructive criticism from the experts here to help me improve my craft! Take a look and let me know what you think! Thanks.

  • Is this some sort of MtG anime?
  • Not particularly. I just like the anime girl style of art, so I figured i'd base the look off of that.
  • No one likes it :(

It's because people find your card mechanics sh*t (not me though).
  • Hrmm, well im open to the criticism for sure.

Tag another pro members and ask them how to improve your cards. I'm just a common person, I don't really get the balancing stuff.
  • I'll help with designing your cards if you give your opinion on this version of the following card. (Currently analyzing your cards.)

I recommend finding more artwork similar to Summoner of Secrets you posted. You'll also need some diversity in genders and races to provide realism in terms of world building. (Such as Elves.)

You could make the entire set women, but I'd recommend against it as feels egregious to most players. Specifically since lack of diversity is too forceful theme-wise.

You also need to really consider balancing and formatting, as your cards don't feel realistic. Cards require some boundaries to make it feel like they actually could be opened in packs and drafted.
