Options on set based off of Arthuian lore

I'm making a set based off of King Arthur. I have 4 factions planned so far Knights (duh) , fairies, witches, and demons. I have already discussed a chivalry mechanic with some others. Any ideas ,feed back, or artwork you may want to share. Here is the link https://mtgcardsmith.com/account/sets/20206
Thanks.

    Offhand I have some thoughts. Not sure if they match the direction you want to go in.

    Knight equipment cards - gambeson, spurs, arming sword, helm crest, holy chalice, etc.

    Bannermen - Some version of enchantments, enchantment creatures, or creatures like enchantments, giving benefits to all your forces.

    Squire and page creatures - Benefit for having knights, or giving bonuses to knight.
  • For the Knights, instead of flying use Horsemanship, an ability from Portal Three Kingdoms. (This creature can't be blocked except by creatures with horsemanship.)

    @Biblio4
    That sounds like a horrible idea.
  • @Odogom I will not be focusing much on equipment for knights because I want my set to go in a different direction to that. I also do not want to make knights too tribal. I will be using horsemanship in a equipment card though.
  • Horsemanship on an equipment is essentially unblockable, hence there's no problem with using it on a single card of the sort. We're glad that it's not replacing flying as mentioned earlier.
  • @modnation675 is will not be unblockable because other cards in the set will have horsemanship

    I refer to entire standard formats as well as eternal formats such as Modern. Limited formats are not much of a concern to us as they can be balanced much easier. Mainly as they require less foresight for after the set's prime.
