Who here is hyped for Battle for Zendikar? What do you think will be in it? (ie Eldrazi, Nahiri, fetches, etc.) Post your speculations here!

    I am so fricking hyped. Eldrazi are fricking back and gideon and Sorin and Ugin! I called it three months ago.

    I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
    I knew that the whole thing with Ugin had to be a sign that it was coming back soon, but I had no idea it would be this soon! I'm really curious to see how they're going to top the original block. One thing I really hope they'll bring back to the upcoming set is leveling creatures. I've always been a fan of those.

    Sorin
    Maybe Ugin?
    Gideon
    Nissa or Jace or Chandra or Someone.

    Wonder how it's going to work out with Sorin and Nissa cause Sorin kind of didn't tell her some important things, but then Nissa broke the seal so….

    Not sure about Sorin. I mean, we did just see him in Khans. Same with Ugin. A new Gideon would be cool, but I'm personally hoping for someone new, or maby Nahiri.

    I for one, even though DTK spoilers aren't over, want to know what happens to Sorin first. Something's definitely had to happen after Fate Reforged to Sorin before we get to Battle for Zendikar.

    I think they need to bring back Sorin. I want to know what happens when Ugin is alive. I also want to know what would happen if Sorin and Nissa see each other again.
    I think Gideon will be in it, because he has such close ties to Zendikar.
    And I really do agree with @Omnipleuvre, please give us a Nahiri!

    Do you think they'll be printing Stoneforge Mystic anytime soon after the last time?
    I don't know if Wizards is too scared of her due to the CawBlade, or if she would be fine to print in the absence of the rest of those cards (being Jace, the Mind Sculptor, Batterskull, Swords, and Squadron Hawk).

    I agree, without any amazing equipments in standard and CawBlade being close to impossible, I think a reprint will be much more likely.

    Zendikar is just gonna be a barren waste. The plane of amazing lands will be reduced to miserable cesspools in the wake of Eldrazi. Ha ha. I like the big shifts they do when we return to planes. Like Mirrodin did.

    Personally, I don't think we'll see Sorin since he was just released, but I wanna see more Zendikar vamps. Loved them more than Innistrad's, aside from a couple Aristocrats. Anowan, Kalitas, Bloodghast, Gatekeeper, Drana, so many awesome ones.

    Also, how are the walkers gonna work considering Gideon and Nissa are both in Origins. I don't want to see both of them in the next set, that's boring. Different or not.

    Callin' it now, Eldrazi Planeswalker. Bam. Chew on that.

    I think we're Definitely gonna get a new Nissa since she is the planeswalker from Zednikar, but i'd love to see a new Sorin. Me and my friends are saying we're gonna get a Sorin vs Nissa Duel Deck, come on wizards! I need it!

    Personally, I'm hoping for enemy colored Man-lands, and that cycle River of Tears would be part of. Or, just fetchlands. Fetchlands would be perfectly fine with me! :)

    I think that they will bring back the fetch lands, because the WOTC said that now all their duel lands will be a cycle. Personally, I want the Eldrazi guys back, but that is just me.

    There is no doubt there will be a Gideon judging by the preview art and certainly there will be Eldrazi as this is "Battle for Zendikar", pitting Eldrazi against the natives.

    I really hope this doesn't turn out the same way as the Mirrodin block where the invaders won. Don't get me wrong; I LOVED New Phyrexia and its lore. But I don't want the adventurer's world to be wiped out this time around.

    I would love to see more eldrazi, vampires, and angels. Gideon will Definetly return. Ugin and Sorin left Tarkir to go to Zendikar. I would like to see the full art lands because I never saw them in my Magic life time. I think enemy colored man-lands would be cool. Enemy colored fetches too.

    At least the defenders won on Innistrad.
    I was about to flip some tables if that place got overrun after what they did to Mirrodin.

    I'm pulling for Zendikar in this one. (Yes, Zendikar itself is a player. Why are you asking me? Just ask Zendikar.)

    (Disclaimer: I may or may not have unleashed Emrakul a fair number of times on my poor play-group-that-was via a handy Clone Shell... Don't look at me like that.)

    Also, hopefully the kind of luck I had with my sealed pool last time we were on Zendikar will meet with my improved skill and game-knowledge from the past several years.

    I'll certainly need it with what's coming.

    (Goes off to reconstruct the Clone Shell deck as a plan-B)

    I predict with my magical future-predicting powers that Emrakul will only have annihilator 4 but be cheaper, Kozilek will let you draw additional cards each turn, Ulamog will make all colorless permanents you control indestructible, Sorin will have a huge life drain ultimate, Nahiri will have her own artifact card called "something" hedron that imprisons permanents, Ugin will have a blow up everything ultimate, Nissa will have an ultimate that summons creatures from your library, and Gideon will have a emblem with: At the beginning of your upkeep, destroy target non-white creature or something. Sorry if that was a mouthful and/or cheesy and unoriginal, but I am in a rush and those are my predictions.

    I'd love for some enemy-fetches in the BZF set, but I don't think will get them yet. Why? They don't want all the fetches to be in standard. So maybe in Zendikar block enemy man lands? Then in the set after enemy fetches?

    Since it's supposedly in Zendikar, I'm thinking that there'll be some Eldrazi in the BZF set. I just want to find out what is.
