Card Stories
Hello everyone. I haven't been on MTGCardsmith for a little while, but I'm back now and have a good contest idea.
Create a card that tells a story.
Here's an example, but I'm sure you guys can do better; https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/innistrads-new-reign
Rules:
-These cards can be of a real story in the Mtg lore, or made up by you.
-You can explain, or implement the story in the flavor text.
-Maximum of two entries per card smith
-Keep it appropriate
-Can be any type of card at any rarity
-I will be judging the story it tells, how professionally it's made, (Worded correctly and stuff,) and how balanced it is.
Prizes:
1st: 5 favorites and a follow
2nd: 3 favorites and a follow
3rd: 2 favorites and a follow
Honorables: follow
Judging will be on September the 25th. If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck everyone and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

@sanjaya666 By judging I mean when the contest is over and in the judging phase. Is that what you meant?

These are some great stories guys! I
This card was supposed to represent how with enough lobbying, (i.e, tapping mana) you can get the action by due process, but nothing beats a knee jerk reaction to a murderer, hence the spell casting for free after another creature has been "murdered" and the cry for swift justice on the perpetrator, even if the accused is innocent. This card takes place in Innistrad in the same vein of flavor of their types of executions and mechanics. Hope everyone likes it!
This is a play off of a few story points I found interesting.
1) Ugin scolds the Gatewatch after killing several Eldrazi titans.
2) Avacyn was the protector of the plane of Innistrad and its seal. When destroyed her role needed to be filled.
3) Emrakul controlled Tamiyo's mind to trap himself in the Moon.
My theory is that the Eldrazi are an ancient creation of Ugin's (both colorless) and that explains why he knew how to trap them, and didn't want them destroyed. They were a sort of nuclear option against the aggression of Nicol Bolas, who is clearly trying to take over the multiverse. When destroyed on Zendikar, Emrakul needed a place to stay or else his hunger would be insatiable, so he usurped Avacyn's role as Sorin's protective seal over his home plane.
I also believe this explains Ugin's and Sorin's aloof attitudes towards Nicol Bolas compared to the Gatewatch. They feel they can just lock Nicol Bolas in a stalemate of mutually assured destruction if he ever assaulted them outright, so they play defense while the Gatewatch are more brazen.
transforms into:
The premise is simple, some older smiths around may have seen me "trying" to work on a set revolving around my namesake planeswalker, but I shelved that idea for the sake of a new and more interesting project.
The origin story of the scourge of the multiverse. the flavor text may not say much, but I hope that the depth is properly conveyed in those two lines.
Lets start with the honorable:

It was really cool to have a recent story told so well in a single card
2nd...

Planar Dissolution by @Platypusburger
I thought this one was really good because you didn't even need the flavor text to still understand the story.
In 1st place...
https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/credius-hero-of-xeras-1
Credius, Hero of Xerax by... you guessed it, Credius!
This was an awesome way to tell a story of one person, and it was a great idea to have a double sided card.
@everyone did amazing though and it was so cool to see all of your stories!
Winners tell me what cards you want me to favorite.
I'd like my favorites on these cards, please.

Congrats winners and honorable!
These two cards are both from my original world named Doltag. Basically, humans land on this planet and there's already crap going down. The two superpowers of the world are at war, one being the Empire and the other being Kroptah. Kroptah is attacking the Empire for land and the Empire is desperately trying to fend them off.
