I can cast some BIG spells by the way... I just need enough red and green mana...

Belgium was indeed neutral up until 1945
  • Switzerland is still neutral

Well, if we're going up against blue and black, we'll need some flying protection. Hopefully this works.

This card is made out of character. I saw the art and couldn't pass up the opportunity.
And sorry about the rarity. It should be rare or mythic rare.

What this transforms into will come later. I'm excited for it. It's gonna be a doozie!

  • The first story is nearing completion. Sorry if you don’t like the way I portrayed your characters - I’ll try to do it better next time.
  • The Fall

    Teusret
    We have always been here.
    We will always be here.
No matter where or when, we will be here, on Xalys.
We departed, and now we have arrived, and now we have rebuilt.
    But what now?
I hope the all of us gods forget our ancient vendetta…

    Anjasna
“Noki, good work reanimating the southern outpost. Sanvia, could you help us?” asks Teusret.
    “Don’t forget me,” hisses Skaur.
    “Oh right. Skaur too.”
Sanvia flies down from the god palace. She lands near the newly reanimated corpses and breathes a spell of rebirth onto them.
The rotten, charred, mutilated corpses underwent a change. Burnt-off skin grows back. Hair sprouts. Limbs reform. A black wind - carrying the disgusting, rotten stench of necromancy that always surrounded Noki and Skaur - blows upwards. With a lazy flick of my hand, the gas bursts into flames.
“Stop ruining our magic!” The twins dually glare at me - a stare that would eliminate any mere mortal. As it is, I just feel a light breeze.
“Well, fire is about rebirth…” I flick my hand again, and the fire reappears, imploding into the gas.
Noki takes a breath, while Skaur reaches out a blackened hand. The magic goes right into the mouth of Noki.
“So that’s how you get your power… Funny, I’d rather not know.”
Suddenly, out of the temple ruins on Xalys Fields, a monstrous shadow rises - a cruel parody of NokiSkaur’s necromantic magic.
It rises into the air, then smashes down on Xalys.

For an instant, or it might have been an eternity, all is black.
I grasp around. I can hear the twins’ desperate wails. Teusret randomly shouts, “WHAT IS HAPPENING? CEASE IMMEDIATELY!” Alon Lyk… I can hear him summoning something, but I can’t see.
    Dammit, I CAN’T SEE!
I grasp someone. Sanvia momentarily gasps.
“Sanvia, are you okay?” The storm practically steals words from my throat.
    “I think so.”
    And then it stops.
And nothing would ever be the same again.

“What did you just say?” demands Skaur.
I blink. Something is wrong. Something just happened that should never have.
Teusret seems to have the same reaction. Alon Lyk, the recently ascended god, says in my mind, Something is… wrong. Anjasna, do you have any idea?
I feel an inexplicable annoyance with Alon for some reason. N...o, I feel fine.
“WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!” screams Noki, sounding like he’s about to summon a zombie dragon to try to kill me. Not that he could, but…
“You get your power by inhaling black rot-gas. You inhale the souls of your zombie rotwalkers. What’s so hard to understand?” I say, smugly. For some reason, I feel good for having insulted NokiSkaur like this.
    Noki gasps.
Skaur says, “You did not just say what I heard you say.”
    “Darn right I -”
“Anjasna, let me finish. Because if you did, then all those elementals? They are -” Skaur concentrates. “Dying by the hundreds right now.”
I take two strides and slap Skaur in his face before he blinks back to Noki.
    “Ow, what was that for?”
    “STOP KILLING THEM!”
“Fine…” and Noki breathes in my face.
I stagger back, my senses overloaded, struggling to make sense of how the steam Noki breathes can smell, taste, and sound so bad.
I shake it off and warp to Mount Phyrex. I summon hundred more of elementals and command them to attack Noki and Skaur’s swamp.
Suddenly, a jet of water destroys many of my elementals. I turn, my scales glowing with magma and rage.
    “WHO DARES?”
Alon Lyk stares down at me, sitting on his cloud. “Sorry, Anjasna, but you can’t do that to Noki.”
Roaring in rage, I breathe fire at this interloper.
He blasts water back at me in response. We seem to be at a stalemate for now.
But as I blast fire at Lyk, I also murmur an incantation through the flames.
Tens of thousands of mile-high fire elementals storm towards NokiSkaur’s dual palaces. Lyk’s eyes bulge out as he sees all the destruction heading towards his ally’s palace.
    “What the -”
I smash him practically into space. He falls down and crashes onto the southern fields. I launch a jet of fire, but -
Suddenly, I turn the fire onto myself -
Gah! He took my mind -
As I launch a jet of flame to counter the water, I realize that this vendetta will take a long time to heal.
But as of right now, I must win!

    Noki/Skaur

Well, Skaur, this is certainly screwed up.

    You said it, Noki.

I haven’t seen it this bad since that tangle with the Eldrazi titan - remember that?

I’d rather you not remind me.

Ah well. Annnyway, let’s get to destroying these elementals. AaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCHHHHH!

Does it hurt to cast spells, Noki? Awwwww, here. Have a taste of true power.

AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaahhhh… That feels better. How could you heal me with mana?

    It’s a Skaur secret.

Oh damn it - damn Anjasna’s elementals - how the bloody HELL did that elemental get past my defenses -

We have elementals too, remember -

    The Bogborn? Are you crazy?

    Hey, desperate times…

    Okay, fine.

...Where are the huge muck-dripping elementals? Nokkkki?

Noki - Oh my gods. (Poor choice of words?) Those elementals - Nice, Anjasna won’t know what hit -

    GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

What is - Oh ouch, that hurts. What’s that interference?

    “I am Sanvia.”
What did that little girl say? Little girl, you’re - Oh come on, Sanvia.

    “We made a pact.”

    Oh, the Bogborn pact. Skaur?

“Well, if you broke it, it’s null and void.”

Oh no, Noki. I am so stupid.

Top ten things I never thought you’d say… And what do you mean?

The Pact was that we couldn’t make Bogborn - and Sanvia couldn’t make the grass elementals.

Skaur. Why did you have to be fused with me?

Lord, they’re taking down the bogborn. They’re taking down the TEMPLE!

Sanvia’s the patron god of Evanston, right?

    ...Yes?

    What do you mean, Noki?

    Not anymore.

    ...What?

There’s no more Evanston. I just killed them all with my sweet zombie hordes. Shower me in adulation and praise?

    Nice, Noki.

Fair enough. Let the war rage on.

    Let the war rage on.

    Teusret
    “It’s gone terribly wrong.”
Me and my demigod stare out of the palace at the carnage - the elemental clash in the west, the constant bursts of lava and flame in the south.
“Yes, but we don’t have a side in this.”
    “What about the temple?”
He turns to me, a glow in his eye.
    “You mean…?”
“Put our finest warriors to guide it, and our greatest scribes to decipher it, and we can fully restore Xalys.”
    He turns to leave.
    “One more thing.”
    “Yes?”
“The other gods cannot know of our agenda. We must make sure of that.”
He smiles, bows, says, “You have my word, Teusret,” and departs.
And I turn my back and walk slowly away.

Okay, since I'm chosen to be the red guy, then here it is.

Also, you should rearrange the story's words and paragraphs and spacing and the other things because it is a mess.

    @NokiSkaur we'reawaiting some response

    @Credius

    Response to what?
  • Yes sry. I just realized I bungled @NokiSkaur’s section
  • @Credius
    Lacks power and toughness.
  • I just realized how bad this looks!! Sorry
  • @modnation675

thanks real Two in One for the heads up xD
  • @TezzeretofCarmot21
I'm that demigod you were talking to right? If not I'm really disappointed.
  • Good. Secret agenda? Bring it on.
  • edited October 2017
Good, I like it for our nefarious plans
  • @NokiSkaur

I don't expect Megras to be the only one from our side to be fighting/scheming his way through this Vendetta... after all, he's still mortal and hellbent on overtaking Meharlet (I think that was right, not sure though) as chief among NS's servants
  • @Credius

I'm pretty sure he works for Meharlat. All Meharlat does is let people into the underworld. Similar to Athreos in a way.
