@Platypusburger Official entries: soul of zendikar, soul of bant, soul of esper. (could't exactly stop with just a few of the shards anyway, plus it's fun xD)
Hi folks, just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about you. The judging is done, but I haven't had time to make a nice pretty post about it, the way I like. Sorry!
Soul of Tarkir, by @TheCenterOfTheUniverse . Manifest wasn't the most powerful, but it was one of the most distinctive mechanics from Khans block, and I liked it. There wasn't really much connection to red, though. Also, why is the Soul of Tarkir a Cat?
Also Soul of Tarkir, by @ningyounk . Dragons are pretty much the Tarkir-iest thing you can do, and this is a solid design. But transformation is usually a blue or green thing, so a Boros dragon Soul seemed a little arbitrary. Good job, though.
Finally, Soul of Valla, by @sanjaya666 . There's not much to Valla in the lore right now, so I can appreciate that you took what little we know of the world and reflected it in a Soul. Good stuff.
Soul of Rabiah, by @Gelectrode . I loved the reference to Bazaar, but what really made this one a winner for me was how you used the protection ability to make some interesting interactions in deciding when you want to target yourself or your opponent. Very cool!
Second place:
Soul of Mirrodin, by @Brainifyer . I love the flavor here. The concept of a small and frail Soul for a world that's been 99% consumed by darkness is brilliant flavor, and the execution was excellent. Clever, and a job well done!
First place:
Soul of Amonkhet, by @NokiSkaur . This thing is a flavor home run! Undeath is the overriding theme of Amonkhet, and this card captures that mechanic perfectly, while still being fair. Plus, the ability to return itself as a token is a brilliant twist on the Souls mechanic, and the flavor of the Soul of an undead-world returning to life after being killed by a being that never really understood it is just fantastic. I loved this card. Congratulations.
And congratulations to the other winners and HMs as well! @Corwinnn will see to your circuit challenge points, as I understand it, and the winners can DM me for their prize likes.
On a separate note, I'm working on a story for Pinta, set a few months after the events of Aether Revolt. If anyone would like to read it over, I can send it over DMs.

I know Rabiah...
What about Ulgrotha? Did someone make one for that?
Ya, I did Ulgrotha.
Sweet.
*ThumbsUp*
Fast judging, me likey
Props for quick judging. I aspire to be as productive as you. (Still have that one contest I never got around to...)
