Flavor Text Challenge (Ongoing)
I really enjoyed the "Flavor Text Challenge" by @ImBadAtBalancing. But he is not active recently, and the thread was closed. So I decided to do the same challenge myself.
What we do here is the exact same thing, so I'll just copy @ImBadAtBalancing's comment.
"You'll make a card based off of / including the flavor of the previous entrants that is included with their comment/reply to this. Then you'll add flavor text of your own that you want the next person to do! It works within itself
If someone already made a card for the line you've been working on, you can still share it no worries! At the very least you must give two lines of flavor text, that way it gives at least a little more freedom. "

I really like the Siren. Very clever idea! I think it should be legendary though. Also that mana cost uses gold border, just fyi:)

When I saw "Only the frail prevail, for no one thinks us a threat" I knew I needed to make a card based on the anime No Game No Life, because that is a central tenant of the show and multiple characters make very similar statements.
The new quotes are;

2. "Fear is Freedom! Control is Liberty! Contradiction is Truth! That is the reality of this world!"
And yes, one of those is a repeat from my previous post that wasn't chosen. ^_^

(rub my head) Like, ouch man. Honestly now, who throws a pokeball! ... ... Oh, right.
And good concept with that card, especially by making it disappear on its own. One thing to consider though is that if played in an America deck, all your lands still produce the colors needed for the rwu color scheme. Only change I'd make is to ensure that at least one of the colors for that deck are removed as well.

As I admitted in the comments for the card, I based it off reality twist. http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=2530 It normally didn't mess with Islands being a mono blue card, it just had a stupid Cumulative upkeep of 1UU that made it impractical keep up for more than a turn or 2. I copied the text box, and added Islands to the colors to hinders, but made so it still allowed the person to set the trap to be potentially ok keeping the flavor of the original. I gave it fading so it still ends at some point, but it slows a game down for a time. (Unless no one is playing basic lands, then it does nothing but draw a card much later.)
As for "So much for that theory..." I heard it said, but was a thing that stuck with me when I was playing Soul Calibur 3 years ago. As Siegfried I beat the last boss for the first time playing thru the story mode, he says," I avoided your vitals, you'll live."...Then the boss explodes..LOL. I was like so much for that theory.
