@KrampisZman One day I was playing one of my old pokemon games, and I finally found an NPC who shared a name with me. A fisherman. He had a party of six Magikarp.
The event stuck with me, and when I saw that flying carp art, I knew what I had to do.
I really wanted to make a new Bidoof lord that synergized with Krampis, Bidoof Demon. I wanted to have a trigger for regular bidoofs As well as a special trigger for Big Daddy Krampis. I thought drawing a card and causing your opponents to lose a bit of life was a fitting entrance for the Dark Lord of Doofness.
Hi there folks! Thank you very much for your patience. Judging took longer than expected, due to life and whatnot. But we're done, so let's do the thing!
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Preliminary Specimen, by Animist.
A simple but elegant design. From art to text, this is classic Simic, a sure shortcut to my heart. The only unfortunate thing is that WotC has been a little random about which Simic creatures get to be Mutants.
Aegir Caller, by AlphaOmega
Homarids! I have to respect your adherence to the themes of the tribe, even though the tribe's cards on the whole are pretty bad. Good for you for sticking to your guns. Plus I love the surreal art!
Bringer of Bringers, by NicolBolasFTW
Now this is just silly, but I love it. The idea of a Bringer deck is pretty absurd, but this card absolutely synergizes with the other Bringers and their upkeep triggers. It's tongue-in-cheek, but I still love it. Needs some pithy flavor text, though.
THIRD PLACE
Forerunner of New Phyrexia, by AustinSmith.
Myr are an awesome tribe, and this is a great new inclusion in a Myr deck. The second ability may be a little too much value for the cost though, especially considering there'd be an infinite combo with Myr Turbine.
SECOND PLACE
Koljoz Harbinger, by TenebrisNemo
This card is a lot of fun! It's not an established tribe, but it fits exactly into the space you'd imagine Imps working in, and it's well-balanced. Good work!
FIRST PLACE
Prophet of the Pact by Animist
This is some excellently flavorful design. A mad priest sacrificing himself for his demonic overlords is a classic trope. The decision to limit its tutor effect to only if you cast it from hand is a very wise balancing move, considering that you're digging for one of the most potent creature types. Overall a great card design.
This was another great contest, thanks to everyone who submitted, and congratulations to the winners! Feel free to PM me for your prize favorites.
I just saw this contest yesterday, so I'm definitely sad to have missed out. However, it gave me an idea, and I made something anyway. So, the winner for best late entry (since its the only late entry) is...

Anyway, here's my entry #2
The event stuck with me, and when I saw that flying carp art, I knew what I had to do.
To be fair, I am going to make a Bidoof Forerunner... Soon.
I rear my ugly head into the CCC community now and then, hi
@Platypusburger
Thanks! Good to see the community still lives
How've you been? Still translating etc.?
For those of you who don't know, Bidoof cards are kind of my thing.

Also, to the inevitable comments about the card draw being a color pie break, the Black Representative of WOTC's council of colors says that Black is happy if someone is paying the cost for it in blood.
Still the same thing, aye. Took a year off for work, though I'm currently back at studying for the next level
Sorry about the irrelevant thread spam, everyone. Great submissions!
I hope this is legit
I'm a bit curious as to if this kind of tutor would work. But I can't find any issues with it so far.
The 2 best arthropods, get out crabs!
