We brought another from beyond this world, her name is Nyra. She is the daughter of the first Faerie to ever be brought into existence. She is proof of our intent to seek peace with the Faeries of this plane since we are reuniting them with one of the oldest of their kind.
Having never really encountered any of the other colonizers, only ever seeing their ships from afar, the Zealots of Ekisha send out envoys in all directions not explored. With hopes of diplomacy, but still prepared for the worst. Starr has foreseen fiery blazes, and dragons in the skies; but unaware of whence they come.
Starr Ekisha to his envoys... "It is easy for a double faced man to live in a society of double faces. Transparent individuals will definitely find it difficult to live in a diplomatic double faced society. Such individuals are often portrayed as anti-social. They are anti-social not because they are anti-social but because they are very social.
Diplomacy was created due to lack of trust between people. Trust is the fundamental force of attraction between people, whereas diplomacy is the fundamental force of repulsion between people. Today, the youths of society are taught diplomacy as the fundamental building block of a society instead of trust. As a result, transparency of the society is lost and individuals in it are forced to trust double faced devils.
There will always be someone for whom violence is the only voice they feel they possess. Your job is to help them find a new way to communicate."
We shall befriend the fae! Any ally is a valuable ally. We shall negotiate with funds and military to gain their support and admiration. The card is coming.
"This is Syr Meadra reporting in for your weekly updates on the 7th crusade"
"While negotiations have not gone as totally planned we are still making progress in our new Eldrakken research station, I will be traveling htier later today to inspect it. On another note we found out who was responsible for the aether spill. A group of Fearies seemed to be attempting to prank us, they did not realise what the exposure to that much refined aether would do to them and they were transformed into a new species of fea we have deemed "Faetherlings", while it was just a few at first they infected almost all the other fea around Sandir"
"These new fea seek to absorb aether so we have issued the command to vaporize them on sight!"
(This is my entry)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile at the Edrakken Research Station ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Syr Atela stood at the docking bay of research station number F-01e. The bay overlooked a forested cove it a large reinforced window showed the picture esq forests. The station had been nicknamed "The Eldrakken Station". She had been put in charge of maintaining peace between the elves scientists so far it had been going well enough. Just as she was thinking that a red scaled tail flicked into and out of view. Atela had figured they would monitor them but she was surprised at how well the elves could hide. She had only noticed them two times before.
(Lore card)
She turned away from the window and continued her inspection of the room, it was a large hanger still under construction. When would be finished it would be able to hold almost 30 ships. One of the dock workers came over to her,
"A couple of starships are about to land, could you please clear the area."
"Meadra is here already?" Atela had barely begun inspection and the artificer was due tomorrow.
"No a new shipment of Constructs are coming in." She nodded and left for the viewing stand, as she did the hanger doors swung open and the ships began landing.
(Lore card)
Atela watched as new Battle Droids and weapons were unloaded from the first two, the third ship landed behind them and legionaries walked of. Dressed in high-tech uniforms and equipped with aether blasters the legionaries were top guardsmen and protectors. They used a type a refined aether that let them form force shields in a snap.
She was surprised that they would be sent out here, did they know something she didn't?, she did not have time to dwell on it though she had to finish her inspection.
Life is chaotic because of two (2) school projects plus homework plus this is hell week for theater plus e'erything from the past like two weeks that has inhibited my card creation time. It will be done a s s o o n a s p o s s i b l e . Am hoping to do it once I finish my two (2) projects tonight. We shall s e e .
Well I did a big dumb and forgot the paper I was gonna go over with my chem teacher in my study hall sooooo I'll likely get my submission done in the next two hours or so
Sorry for once again d e l a y i n g things, but I've been barely hecking scraping by in getting assignments for school in so yeah, priorities man
@EnvyReaper God I wish I could go back to that. This is AP my friend. It's just a test that I'm working on redoing the free response questions for and need some h e l p from her on.
Ariad: The Eldrakken forces are nearing the cannons' range, it seems they have yet not realised we know of their aereal attack nor their deal with the Endorsans. Anthea: Good, shoot the cannons as soon as they're about to enter our range. At the speed they're going they're unlikelly to doge them. Ariad: Shall we have our observers retreat? Anthea: Keep them at a distance we can monitor the battle with them, and as soon as you shoot the cannons send out a squadron of archons, they'll deal with any forces that may survive the attack, even if they dont kill them they'll stall enough for us to defeat their main forces at our border. Ariad: Very well. Ariad: And it seems like our assasins succeeded in their mission, though they have not survived the task. Anthea: Without a commander the Eldrakken's main forces will fall at any moment. Their sacrifice shall be honored. Anthea: Send a message to the Eldrakken with this words "Surrender and accept assimilation or be wiped out.". Ariad: I shall have the quickest messenger deliver it.
(That last card is both a card for the war and for the challenge haha)
Flair's agitation grows as the trickery of the fae begins to flood the scorched land. Fluttering, filthy creatures think the world belongs to them. It is the birthright of the Knights to seize this plane, and now some glorified pixies think differently? This is nothing shy of insulting.
As the Knights reach a standstill in conflict with the fae, Flair is left seething (as is the case with most inconveniences). With no clear resolution, Flair consult Sk'nr'z'r, who reminds him of stories relating to fae and names. With the name of an individual, fae can often wreak havoc on their lives.
Flair's anger melts rapidly into anticipation. He orders the most skilled of his ranks out in search of information that could be shared with the fae to cripple any other factions seeking control of Mystik...
(My apologies for the short entry. Next week, I should be able to reap the benefits of much more free time. That is, unless we win the competition this weekend. *violently knocks on my wooden beside table*)
"This is not a drill. The Acreans are here!" A cry rings throughout the settlement that springs into action. Dragons fly away with elves and supplies on their backs and wounded in their claws. Sovereign battlers spring into action, giving the Eldrakken inhabitants time to escape. Couriers fly to the other two southern isles to warn of an invasion.
...
"Surrender and accept assimilation or be wiped out." Ezorael turns to the faerie flying next to him with Acrean garb. Turning in his saddle, he replies, "Tell your masters that we will keep fighting. Before the week is up, your flying hamlet will be in ruins. Peaceful negotiation is off the table." The faerie, with obvious dissatisfaction, starts the journey back to Acrea.
...
Something's not right, Nalryt, the draconic leader of the flank assault, communicates to the other firedrakes and Sovereign pilots as they approach the flying city. Arav, the lead Sovereign pilot, sees it too, and radios to the other pilots, "Firedrake Squadron! form Testudo, now!" The starships raise their shields and form a barrier in front of the firedrakes as cannons on the side of Dalaran start barraging. While a few firedrakes are forced to land, the majority of the projectiles bounce off of the barrier.
"Continue advance!" The formation advances, more cautiously than before. Even with a squadron of archons are deployed, they are all shot down or snapped up before being able to do any harm. Many cannons are disabled, falling to starship fire. The assault has reached Dalaran.
[Really starting to regret not adding white into my faction.]
@Stryk3r That card has a few problems. First of all, it says “return to your hand”, not generally available in green and red, and then tries to put them back on your end step. This wouldn’t work because your hand is not a “revealed zone”, although your opponents technically had the cards revealed to them. Finally, that same effect is available in the real game... for three mana.
just some constructive criticism, not trying to nitpick or anything
@AxeNoodle 1. I am aware of the colour pie bend, but there aren't many good effects that work flavourwise without breaking the colour pie. 2. Well then, that might be a problem 3. This card (is intended to) return creatures to the battlefield after bouncing them, which, unless I'm bad at searching stuff up on Scryfall, doesn't show up on other cards.
Ooh boy. Some important revelations coming, but first, ANOTHER REVERSAL! @Stryk3r is managing to push @Xero0 back again. TENSION!
If you look closely, you will notice there is no more free real estate. All land's been taken. Now, soon you will have to declare war, but first, a short intervention!
uNdEr tHa sEa!.!111!.
*erhm*, Legends are starting to float around. This isn't an archipelago world by accident. Earthsea would just be Earth without the Sea. And deep within these primordial waters, a certain thing resides. No one is sure of what it is. No one is sure of what it can do. But everyone WANTS it. This underoceanic object, or creature, or concept or thing draws all seven remaining factions out to sail, to find this treasure, and avoid elimination in the process.
Whoever makes the best cards by next Tuesday gets treats (by treats we mean delicious points), and the least best will win a free ticket back into the Blind Eternities!

Rayeous sat, pondering, “I think an ally is important. The fae’s magic could be very advantageous. Consuls, may you give a vote on this topic?”
A vote among the consuls, elected officials, resulted in 9 in favor, and 4 opposed.
”Respond with a yes!” Rayeous proclaimed before ending the meeting.
You better get in on time!
