Gareth and the Lost felt that the easiest and safest way to solve all of their problems was to sick one of the many eldritch abominations on the other factions who threatened them. The basic premise is to hide their own people, then create illusory copies of the Lost in the enemy camps, thus drawing the Forgotten One (who’d come from the plane they locked him on explicitly to have his revenge on the Lost) into our enemy’s camps. This will, in theory, distract and decimate our opponents and render them incapable of mounting a proper counterattack against us. In essence, we plan to fight (and win) this war without actually doing much in the way of fighting.
Ekisha scientists have spent countless hours in tireless resolve trying to create something, anything, that could turn the tides; for better and worse. After a few mad lab mishaps, they believe to have finally created that ultimate device.
We must adjust our emotive outlook before drowning in bitterness and choking on despair. We must periodically weed out pangs of disenchantment and scour disillusionment from our hearts in order to console and replenish the depleted resolve of our spirit. Finding ourselves crippled by physical injury, weakened by illness, or left stranded in a vulnerable emotional condition brought on by grief, disappointment, and other physiological or psychological crisis, we must each examine our values and update our mythological mental maps in order to generate a source of stirred concentrate steeling a rejuvenated march onward. Perhaps our sources of revitalizing energy will stem from gaining a new perspective on ancient challenges, by establishing new hopes and dreams, or by delving a lofty purpose behind our efforts. Alternatively, perhaps we only develop the resolve to resume our scrupulous assault on the important issues of life by orchestrating a fundamental transformation of the self, a complete restructuring of our values and goals.
"war-which-is-not-actually-a-war-but-just-flair-burning-things-and-everyone-just-stopping-things-from-burning" is my favorite quote from this season. It's a good way to close out Flair's cycle of death and rebirth.
*Lore* As an additional form of protection, Judiel found a way to combine the Lost magic with the power of Flair's fire so that it can finally do something good. By imbuing the fire with energy from the Blind Eternities, the Judiel managed to create a pyre that will burn forever, protecting someone with that same energy in them from all that seek to harm them. After some experimenting, Judiel found that by putting more power into the flame, it changed properties and began protecting everyone around it with that energy. However, what was even more curious was that it didn't seem to draw the attention of the Forgotten One and when it was near him the same protections didn't seem to apply. Judiel hopes to keep experimenting to see if he can figure out why that is.
Author's Note: I apologize for how squished the card looks, it was the best I could do with the wording. As for the frame, I wasn't quite sure which to use since there isn't a legendary colored artifact frame.
Well, you four, you are the cream. You floated to the top. You'll be making it into the precons. You must be proud.
But from the four best, it is our job to sift away the three that must bow to the supreme winner. And the first that we sift now is @ThatOneCat.
Now, if it weren't for a small caveat of the judging system, this situation would look completely different. In fact, I have to say, if we take JUST the points from the cards, the Realm of the King would be WINNING this entire operation. However, there is another dimension to a faction. The LØRE. And while this is definitely part of the charm, the greater narrative behind the Realm ended up being less defined than the other contestants.
This brings us to a point that was brought up a lot during the census we did way back when, that the writing that accompanies cards may be slightly overrated in the current system. We will probably be making a few changes to how that works in the future. But from where we stand right now, you must readjust your crown, call of the freezing squads, regally push the accelerator and HEAD HOME!
So this is how this is to end, huh? Just one week to determine which one of you chums gets to sit on the Fifth Big Chair. Let's make it a good one, eh? All-out battle for supremacy, GO!
A gift for Flair, The Lord of Flames, Perfected Knight. A mask straight from a demon of darker realms, used for death, destruction, and victory over the weak.
A gift for the Ekisha, some of the wisest and dangerous. A book utilizing a source shining brighter and stronger than any planar conquerers. Useless in the hands of fools, but dangerous in the hands of the wise.
A gift for the Citizens of Exile, banished from their homes, but still finding a way to survive. A shard used as a focus for certain elemental monks, able to manipulate the earth around you, for once, your world can be in your control.
Use these gifts wisely, as your choices with them may affect the fate of the future...

To be honest, it feels very gratifying that you care. Thank you for validating my existence.
Good luck! Try not to die!

Only one card is required, but you may make a card for each scenario if you so wish.

Do you need some more time?
The cards are finished & everything; I thought I sent them in. They'll be up in like 5 minutes once my laptop gets r u n n i n g .
Step two: Fire up the defenses.
Step three: Profit. (Or rather, prepare for the war to come to its climax.)
