Comments
1. Take a look at the current challenges and try not to duplicate anything currently going on.
2. Have a well thought out idea and make it interesting for other Cardsmiths.
3. It's not always about having an active challenge, because there are plenty of those, you can be active in other ways. Leave some great feedback for people, or enter some of the other challenges that are active.
If there are too many challenges, people lose interest in some of the ones that are repetitive, or not as interesting as others. Other Cardsmiths appreciate challenges, but they may grow weary of too many of the same challenges.

(P.S. You still owe me 10 favorites. I left you a message for the first 8. No rush of course.)
This card has notes. Be sure to read the post by yours truly, and be sure to keep an open mind. Also, "no Un-" was not specified, and this does for the criteria of a Commander I want.
Edit: Not sure where my comment went, but I reuploaded it from my copy in notepad so perhaps a perusal is in order?
Okay, so let's say you play him on turn 4, then activate his ability next round, during your opponent's upkeep. Unless your opponent is playing black, they just lost all of their creatures, and even if they are, they probably can't pay for all of their creatures, and even if they can, that's a massive setback for them. Going further, if you happen to play Brago's Representative, then your opponent can't even retaliate by voting for your creatures to die, and instead you just get a bunch of free cards.
Breakdown of the best case scenario:
Turn 1: Forest, Llanowar Elves or some other 1-mana Elf.
Turn 2: Mountain, Thought Vessel
Turn 3: Plains, Brago's Representative
Turn 4: Island, Noel of Perils
Turn 5: Island, use the ability to its full potential to draw 3 cards and (most likely) decimate your opponent's board state. Even if your opponent doesn't have any creatures out, you still get 3 cards out of this.
And this is assuming you do the bare minimum that gets you the maximum effect of Noel of Peril's ability. Were you to play, say, two more creatures each on turns 3 and 4 (most likely more mana-generating elves in a deck centered around Noel of Perils), you'd be getting up to 7 cards out of the ability, and it really doesn't matter how many cards you draw with the ability, since Thought Vessel grants infinite hand size, and so you can just pull out more creatures, then keep drawing cards until you win with Laboratory Maniac (if you're feeling particularly evil). And this is assuming you played basic lands. If you played shocklands or something and you had a third land that could make blue mana, you could put something like Robe of Mirrors on Noel of Perils, that way the only thing you have to worry about is a board-wipe. Oh wait, never mind board-wipes, you can just play Gift of Immortality or reanimation spells to get Noel of Perils back if they don't exile it. And even if you don't get the best case scenario, you'll consistently be close enough to it that you can just use the ability to draw into the cards you need.
P.S. - There's still no comment.
But most importantly of all, the elephant in the room, HES SILVER BORDERED. All of the above rests on the back of IF my opponents let me play with it in the first place.
This is a parody card. I, as a connoisseur of the finer things of the Un- world, will be the first to say that this card could be wackier, and could definitely be better as the effect definitely fits into black-bordered Magic. This card was created to fill a niche spot, and also for a contest for "Which Legendary creature I would like to see print for Commander." This is the one.
A few notes -
* This is first and foremost a Silver-bordered card. This option is unfortunately not available as of yet in MtgCs, so this has to be specified in the comments.
* Name- Noel of Perils? Wait... Père Noël! 20/20 hindsight, I should have added the accents to this guy's name for subliminal flavor.
* The correct typing on this card was hard to come up with. I played around with Avatar, Elf, Snow, etc. Ultimately I could only put 2 types on the line, and Snow is not a supertype supported by MtgCs. So the printed type is up for debate.
* The correct Power and Toughness on this card was hard to set. I wanted to play around with 12/24 but the max set is 20 and I couldn't justify a 12/24 in the cost anyways. So I decided to take a leaf out of Unhinged's book. The correct P/T is 2/4 1/2.
* Artwork - The artwork is probsbly potential wasted but it was the only punny/fantasy artwork of Santa that i coild come across. As the effect is not stapled down, I'm not sure what I would like to pop from the art. Possibly his sack, maybe him in the upper right, but if I also remember correctly, the Holiday promos never popped from their frame and still qualified as Silver Bordered. This is a holiday -themed card.
*Effect - I wasn't sure what to put here, but I did know it wasn't going to be "poop fart. Internet meme, useless card text. Ha ha this be Un- card durf." I know the effect is rather vanilla, and could easily be transplanted into black bordered world, but I figured simpler was better.
-Keywords - Haste, Flying. Think Santa, should this not come to mind, I don't know what would.
-Activated ability - What the Sh%$? Yes. Blue and black symbols. Doesn't that make this guy WUBRG? Caught on have you? I need need NEED a silver bordered 5 color Legendary creature to helm my 5 color EDH Un- deck. And if Wotc should ever print one (holidays, or otherwise) I will expend whateverresources iI have to make sure one ends up in my possession. Until then, this.
-Ability - Oh yeah, right. So the blue was the short stick, what with white red and green being the casting cost, and black being the obvious choice for "coal" for the "naughty" creatures. Also, space. Couldn't think of a better effect than naughty/nice for ol Kris Kringle.
* Mana Cost - pretty bland, but it covers the WRG I needed and also covers the Christmas colors, in case Père Noël wasn't blatant enough for ya.
And I do believe that's it! Enjoy this addition to my collection, this one will be close to my heart for some time. I would like to see some commentary on this card and possibly some feedback on my commentary.
The other day (before you created Noel of Perils) I was just randomly sketching and ended up with a somewhat trim, muscular, shirtless dude in a Santa costume in the act of jumping/punching. Next to the sketch I wrote "HO, HO, NO!"...
What does this mean? Both of us come up with the same idea about a holiday that could hardly be farther away?
I assure you I didn't see your card at all before I sketched that. Also I've never seen that art.
So... weird.

Also, @cadstar369 I can't believe that I couldn't think of the term for my earlier rubuttal of your proposed "busted" scenario, but would "Magical Christmas Land" be appropriate here?
