@Blazin_Biscuit Love the dark and creepy feel of them, I'm a huge fan of anything gothic so they work well for me. As always, I've left the comments on the cards themselves.
@32bitBandit, I totally agree with everything you had to say, and since there's no contests I'm finding particularly interesting at the moment, I feel like I'm going to remake them then swap the pictures and link. I've always had a problem with making cards too overpowered or underpowered.
@Blazin_Biscuit Yeah that's exactly what I like to see, get at them until they're on point, then make another four up, I'm happy to keep looking at however many you post, and you're idea has a really nice feel to it so it would be a shame to give up on them.
@32bitBandit, I don't know if they will all be in a set, but I will put them all into a collection on my crud smith account and maybe make them into a set then.
@Blazin_Biscuit That's fair, making a set is a huge thing, and if you wouldn't enjoy that then it would be a crazy thing to do. Either way, you're going to get a collection of awesome cards!
@32bitBandit, though to be honest, I do really enjoy MTG and so will probably put together a set from cards I've made at some point. I'm thinking of doing it every 100 cards I make so look out for one soon (Each set will most likely have about 40 to 60 cards in).
Made for my Realms of Delrea set. One of the main mechanics is Wayfarer, which represents the travellers on the plane, mainly the white/black Nomads. Persistent Drifter is a Wraith, not a spirit, because wraiths are dead souls which appear and disappear from time to time.
@Mysterious_Gangsta Again, I love the feel of them, dark, and interesting builds. As always I've commented on them individually so that we can discuss them in greater depth if you want to.
@Connor2001 Having played RPGs both tabletop and computer for many many years, and rpg design being something that takes up a lot of my time, I was very excited to see some dungeon crawl, rpg, dnd sort of cards! Awesome ideas, and as always I'm commented on them individually. Inspired by the idea I've started working on a set with a DnD sort of feel to it (linked below), it's quite a bit different, it focuses Dungeons and Settlements to explore, and legendary creatures (so that the players have a party of adventurers on the table). I look forward to building up the set and keeping an eye on what you come up with as well, you can't have too many RPG sets!
Nice, you all put a lot of work in this contest! Especially @32bitBandit ! Thank you for your effort!
Ok, this are my merchant cards. I play them in our MTG-Group every Monday evening. We are six players and have all approved the cards (Basically the "real" Decks ceep winning over my poor merchants, but they are a lot of fun to play ).
My rare card: http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/pares-merchant-guild-master?list=user He is designed to be a commander in EDH. I created him to bring a new element to the gameplay of magic. The trade. With him you can barter permanents with other players or just make presents and so on. This brings a lot of diplomacy possibilities to a classic EDH game. Also he is very cool with teammates. you can support them, when they have a poor start.
@Tutlaschk Will go through and comment on the cards individually shortly (and will catch up with everyone else's as well). One of the things I'm liking about this 'competition' is that it lets people look at others cards and help each other out, and it also tests my skills and gives me inspiration for my own cards.
Here are a couple of cards that are 'similar... ish' to yours, cards with the feeling of trade.
Anyway, I love the idea of cards that gain you money, and it's inspired me to add some currency cards to my set and see how they fit in. This is the set so far (rough at the moment of course). It's a DnD sort of set, it has Dungeons and Settlements to play and attack, the creatures are pretty much all legendary so that you have a 'party of adventurers' on the table, and adding trade and money I think will be a nice touch. It'll be very different from your approach, but I'll show you what I come up with to see what you think.
( @32bitBandit, I'm sure you've seen my "extra-entries" above, but don't forget about me plz
You guys talking about money made me think of one of mine:
I think the more appropriate wording would be: Chose an opponent. Put two artifacts named Gold onto the battlefield under that players control, they have "Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool."
Gain control of target creature the chosen player controls until end of turn. Untap that creature. It gains haste until end of turn.
Increased the mana cost of both cards (including Dungeon Trap's trap cost), and edited Final Battle so that you also get a legendary creature, and greater situational lifegain.

I created a few cards that would love those to death :P

Bring out Herald, Orb, and Child
Have Eidolon hit field, gaining 3. Herald's ability on Child for a +3/+3. Have Child bulldoze and get any life back from combat dmg. Use Orb to ramp to maybe another Child or a Thorn Elemental.
Lovely concept and so much potential, I'm commented on the cards and look forward to helping you with them and seeing how they develop.

Yeah, it is an all mythic set. A very powerful mythic set.
The challenge was asking for one of each rarity, not four mythics.
But it seems you know that so... why post it?
I'd forgotten, thanks for that
