Teras and Guellam kept an eye on the other combatants...very different personalities were here from not as many like Guellam or for that matter like Teras...they both think they have the upper hand.
I have to train hard. Krim looks quite powerful. I went back to her place and kept shooting flames at the ground. I flung flames into the sky trying to burn the highest clouds. The sky started to turn black. I felt good about this. Anna suddenly stormed into the room.
“Stop shooting your flames because many of us can hardly breathe,” Anna said while gagging. “You think I’d listen to a little girl like you? Never,” I responded, then I strutted away.
Braekun looked at the board with the declared matches.
"hmm. My opponent is Temah, a wizard from Tolarian. Hmmm. I must ask wise greatmother of this opponent of mine."
Braekun contiued to walk downwards on the streets in Glenmore. He had to keep himself in the shadows for the whole walk. He was an polar bear from the frozen continent of Anigrima in the plane of Heventos. Warm and humid climates did not work well for him.
People where looking strangely at him. Had they never seen a bear before!? It was probably because he was white. 'Wait. are there bears of other colors than white?'
"I must stop talking to myself. The heat is making me feel weird. I need to cool down, somehow."
Bearkun came to a market. He looked around and found a merfolk that sold fish, crabs and other sea based stuff which Bearkun did not recognize. He walked to the merfolk and asked what a fish cost.
"seven silver coins"
"Ehmm. How about a fight? The winner gets the fish?"
"No fight. Seven silver coins for the salmon or get lost."
The warmth was still messing with Breakun's head. "I know. I'll fight someone for you and you give me the fish."
"I don't have anyone for you to fight. Now seven silver coins or get out of my sight."
Breakun looked through his backpack. A metal rod, some bones, a blue magical crystal, a skull, a knife, a red scarf of silk that belonged to Valeri. Seeing the scarf calmed down Braekun but he still had nothing to pay for the fish with.
Breakun left the fish selling merfolk.
A few minutes later Brakeun came running towards the merfolk again. He was carrying a sheep in his hands. He threw the sheep at the merfolk and then grabbed the fish and ran away before anyone could grasp what had just happened.
Brakeun hid in a dark alley wit the fish. "I can finally contact greatmother." After he had cut the fish open he realized that he could have used the sheep instead. "The heat is really messing with me."
He put one half of the salmon on his axe and ate the other one. Then he began to speak.
"Oh greatmother. You who watches over me day and night. I need help to understand my upcoming opponent. I must ask you wise greatmother. What is a wizard?"
I forgot to mention the Rogue is on there because he is a “rogue” in Orzhov, but he is actually a wizard that is better at like dead magic stuff...if that makes sense...so when the battle come you don’t mess up how he fights @jpastor
Guellam: He is at available training courses practicing his speed and strength preparing to avoid the lightening... Teras reminded him that some substances do not conduct electricity
Shanka felt like this was going to be an easy contest to compete in as she surveyed the other competitors. "None of them seem to be as fast as I am, but we shall see." She remembered the day she had won in her last tournament, at the end when it was her the judges declared as the winner. Well, they HAD to, for she had murdered her opponent. 'It was quick and easy', Shanka smirks, reliving the memory in her mind. 'I see no reason why I wouldn't be successful here as well...'
Braekun comes from a continent named Anigrima on the plane Heventos. Anigrima is a continent covered in ice and never ending frost. Stories say that the eternal winter began when the elder dragon Helgnir fell to slumber in the heart of Anigrima and the winter is a way to keep out unwanted visitors.
Breakun belongs to a clan of polar bears led by a greatfather and a greatmother. The greatfather is a mighty warrior and leader of the other warriors in the clan. The greatmother is a wise shaman and guide for the clan.
Breakun is a warrior of the clan and eager to show his skill in battle to the current greatfather. He has the dream of one day become a Kongurin like the an ancient warrior of the tribe. A title only given to those that has been blessed by the greater valkyries or fought and won over one of them in battle. The greatfather did not doubt Braekun's vigor and strength but he did doubt his lack of wisdom and fire in battle.
Braekun believed he could get these from battle so he set out to seek an opportunity to show his might. He found a valkyrie and challenged her to battle. The valkyrie did not want to fight the bear but he convinced her. The valkyrie defeated Braekun with two swift strikes. The valkyrie had some pity for the defeated bear but he had challenged her, a valkyrie while he was just an ordinary warrior of the bear clan. She left him to crawl his way back.
Two other bear hunters had seen the fight and approached Bearkun. They told that to crawl back was the price he would pay for his shame. Not because he lost to a valkyrie but because he even thought he could fight a valkyrie, and a good one at that. The two left Braekun to crawl back home.
Braekun however had forgot his way home so he crawled after the brothers, who went away from the clan. After two days of crawling with two nasty wounds. Braekun came to a camp. A camp of humans. The human warriors saw the bear approach them and went out to meet him. Braekun threatened the humans if they touched him. The captain just laughed at the crawling bear and went back into the camp. A young cleric girl named Valeri had seen the bear and felt pity for him. She asked the bear if she could nurse his wounds. Braekun was at first grumpy but he fell to the charm of this small human girl.
She nursed the bears wounds and let him rest at the camp for the night. Braekun however was eager to get back so without letting his wounds heal, he began to crawl. He was however found and stopped later that day by Valeri and some other human warriors.
Valeria forced Braekun to remain at the camp until he had healed. During this time, Valeria explained what they did in Anigrima. They or rather she was searching for a large and ancient city deep within the coldest parts of Anigrima. The city of the first human civilization long before Anigrima became frozen. A city that now belong to the greatest valkyries. Braekun saw a chance in this to get that wisdom and fire that greatfather had spoken about. So the bear and the human began a strange partnership to find the lost city.
It started back during the beginning of the Orzhov. Teras lived his life out well. Even in the afterlife his family was wealthy, and were devoted to guild. Yet they were kind to all.
Then Obzedat happened.
Teras being the relatively young ghost he was did not know the reprecussions that were soon to follow, so he would spend his money thinking he still had it. Then the partitions started to roll from the council. They were "extorting" them! (Hahahahaha, extorting!)
Teras found this appalling by the time he realized it though all of his money, and his family's money was gone. He could have very well been a thrull for the ghosts.
But he made change. After living in the slums of the afterlife for a while. He started a riot, or at least he tried...it failed.
Later though he found out that the weak ghosts that did not care for his rebellion and were in support of the current Orzhov could be used. He could harvest their souls to make him and his allies more powerful. (Hence Reap)
After discovering this he got a letter it read, "Come meet me and the others at the maze and I will discuss the plans for the future. Sincerely, Venninck" Everyone knew who Vennick was this must be important
...
He arrived Vennick was no where in spot, but there were nine others there they were the only ten, in total, there. One to represent each guild.
Vennick appeared. "Welcome. I am here to let you guys in on a little secret. You know how you ten have all started riots or rebellion in your respective guilds. Well I know about it, and I wish to strike a bargain. We should all help each other with these rebellions, for the guilds need to change. In return though I would like anyone who no longer fits in to join me and the guildless. A simple request."
And with that and some discussion later a bargain was struck. Recently Teras lost a struggle against the current Orzhov for control over a trade center. So in recourse he came here to train himself, and found out that Nikya was having the same issues with her guild.
So here is to train himself and represent his guild and plane here.
Anna is a Mage that tries to discover the deepest secrets of the world. She lived in a village which despised her and took her parents from her and she ran away. There, she found a moonfolk plansewalker, Tamiyo, who had the same goal. She vowed to help Tamiyo, but in the end, destroy her. When Tamiyo abandons her plane she has nothing but to discover the darkest secrets of the Giant Turtleback City.

Okay, Teras vs. Zidrux...okay, okay
Guellam vs. Farrah...wait isn’t Farrah Corwinn’s entry...forking short (starts praying to gods of Ravnica if there are any)
Best of luck for everyone!
