    Challenge:     Hit the random card button on mtgcardsmith. The random card'll probably suck. Give the random card a makeover. Fine tune it, change it up a little bit, reformat it, artwork, etc. Then post the original and your new version side by side. Be sure and tag the original cardsmith.
    Yesterday's Winner: @Katastrophecy rewarded 2 favorites of choice.

    This is a really cool concept. Also, thank you for the win! Here are the two cards I think I would like favorited: Aether Herald and Eternal Chevalier

    So I hit the random button and I got Conflagrant Void by @Mobin.

    It's not really that bad in my opinion, but I still wanted to create my own version of it. Some things which I did notice were:
    - The art is from an existing MTG card named Sparkspitter.
    - It's quite strong compared to its CMC.
    - Grammar mistakes.

    Well, I changed the card into this version. I wanted to keep the same theme as the original:

    Flavor is different but the mechanic is basically the same idea. Changes I made are-
    *It's sorcery now, so it can't be imprinted on Isochron Scepter.
    *Added "for that player"
    *It exiles itself so that it won't be abused.
    *It only targets tapped creature for the new flavor reason.
    *Removed "that player may draw a card" for the new flavor and power balance reason.

    Hey smithers, this was a very difficult challenge to judge, so I asked @jpastor for a second opinion. We've collectively agree that there were two winners, however one slightly beat the other.

    I originally was going to do a TIE Fighter, but then when I found this picture, how could I resist?

    For those of you who have never heard of this particular ship, it is a superweapon used by an imperial remnant in legacy. It vacuums up planets and turns them into spaceships for later use. It is technically a droid with a skeleton crew, and as such it made more sense as an artifact creature than a vehicle.
