"Enter the Dreamscape" by @Lastjustice https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/enter-the-dreamscape?list=user It seems like a fun card to build a deck around it. Good hate card against control decks as well. RG are not the colors I imagine from the word "Dream", but those are aggressive colors, and aggressive play style actually goes well with Dreamborn mechanic.
5th place "Lady Jessa Thornwood" by @Lastjustice I like Solidarity+Protector idea! This was one of the few entries that uses the synergy of two custom mechanics on a single card.
4th place "Graveyard Scavenger" by @sorinjace I'm not a big fun of incorporeal mechanic, tbh. But I really like the flavor of this card. It's like this wizard goes to the nether world to find a dead creature's souls and bring them back to their bodies. I think it's safer if it makes you pay life or something every time it reanimates a creature, because otherwise it can abuse death trigger/EtB trigger. Maybe it could say "Incorporeal - {2}, Pay 3 life."(@fiskerton did on his Soul Guide.) And I would like it more if the card name was something more shamanic.. like Speaker of Lost Souls..idk
3rd place! "Phantasm of the Grave" by @bnew07 "Creatures you don't control get -1/-0." is not only flavorful but it also helps other creatures with Dreadful. It makes me imagine the environment this mechanic could exist, and I think bnew07 did too.
2nd place!! "Angel of Awakening" by @TenebrisNemo It's a powerful card and it accelerates the aggressive play style! I also like that this is like a counter spell against board wipe, which is always the big threat for all winnie decks.
1st place!!! "Fading Cavalry" by @TheSuturedHeartMan I like the idea of making incorporeal ability non-permanent. Cards with incorporeal seem very difficult to deal with and could be unfun, imo. But you made it fair and interesting. I also like the colors and creature types. RW has Mentor mechanic, and Soldier Spirit sounds flavorful. Very well thought out design.
"Enter the Dreamscape"- Thanks for the honorable mention. I was inspired by the art when I saw, as I came up with the name, just was manner what art fit that name. I was thinking kinda like a shamanistic spirit vision type dream journey,(Partly because of the magic story I read.https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/magic-story/chronicle-bolas-twins-2018-06-13 ) so Temur felt like the right colors, as I wanted pick something that had blue, but contained agressive enemy colors to go with it. I considered Jeskai as well. @Teacup 's love for Red helped nudge me toward those colors being her mechanic heh.
"Piracy mechanic" - Yeah it's a quirky thing. I think punishing control decks for keeping their mana open though interesting thing. You'd need make them uncounterable or something to go with the piracy cost or give them split second so people couldn't tap their lands in response, as seems like that would be an issue with it as well. Not being a rules guy I am not sure how that shakes out. There's nothing stopping a player from tapping their lands just to do so with no mana burn. It's definitely not quite there, as it feels like an unfinished mechanic.
"Lady Jessa Thornwood"- Yeah this was a tough batch of mechanix to pair up nicely. This was probably the card I felt like they had the most sense going together. I did along more single mechanix this time around than usual as I try sync up as many as I can. Between some of them eating up alot of text or just being rather straight forward it wasn't easy to work multiple mechanix on to the same card. I am impressed by the winner's use of the two as well.
@Lastjustice I think you can't tap your lands in response to your opponent's piracy cards. Just like you can't remove an opponent's creatures when they are tapped to cast a spell with convoke. http://forums.mtgcardsmith.com/discussion/comment/126020/#Comment_126020 I just think the gameplay that players must not forget to tap all lands before passing their turns is a little weird and unfun. But I like Dechujoh64's idea- Make Piracy a keyword mechanic. (Piracy is a real card, but it became almost useless due to the rules changes.)
Prizes were delivered! Thanks to all participants and the creators of the mechanics. There were so many cool cards and I really enjoyed hosting this challenge!

I know the contest is over already, but based off feedback on Honorbound on a card I read, I decided make a modified version of it, you can log it if you like for the mechanix.
Honor-bound by captain_Pugsley -Modified/renamed by Lastjustice
Honor (Opponents can't gain control of this creature and costs {1} less for each other creature with Honor.)
Resist By Lastjustice Resist *type (Prevent all damage from a *type source dealt to this creature.)
I completely agree with your comments about the piracy mechanic. It seems cool on the surface but a savvy opponent will just tap their lands on their turn making it useless. Interestingly, it becomes much more viable in a world with mana burn.
I'm slightly wondering if @Dechujoh64 came up with piracy partly due to being sick of getting his spells countered when we play commander. mwahaha.
anyhow, thanks @Tomigon! I like the idea of pay 3 life, I didn't know I could change that since this isn't my mechanic. As far as the creature's name, I still like his name, but I can change the name of the creature to that for you no prob!

I like the additional effect idea! Very good burn(+artifact removal) spell.

I like how it gives you a difficult decision: If you have tapped creatures, this spell becomes cheaper, but it kills those creatures too.

To be honest, I didn't see this mechanic as a realistic mechanic from the first place. Once your opponents know you are playing a deck with this mechanic, they would simply pass their turns with no untapped lands, and your cards with piracy mechanic would become just expensive cards. In my opinion, this mechanic should't be used on so many cards(Which makes me think it shouldn't be keyworded mechanic), and it's only effective if the deck has only few of them as surprise cards.
But bnew07 explored this mechanic with very flavorful and neat designs and I really enjoyed them.
