@LordTachanka123 >"could you perhaps make some sort of guide/step/crud/system thingy for coming up with new keywords mechanics? "
I think we need to be able to categorize what we want to make first. I copied the following texts from MTG Wiki: ////////////////////// Mechanics are typically categorized as follows:
Keyword abilities or often shortened to "keywords": words attached to rules text, that represent an ability that is constant. They come with reminder text, except if they are evergreen.
Keyword actions: verbs that have a special rules meaning. Sometimes reminder text summarizes their meanings.
Ability words are words that group cards that have a common functionality and do not imply any particular rules.
I’m sorry. I know you probably get tons of submissions for stuff on this page...but I really like my mechanics. There’s not too many.
Shielding - When this creature takes non-lethal damage, prevent that damage. (A low-tier defensive mechanic; I felt like we didn’t have enough of those)
Desolator N - When this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player discards N cards. (My way of hopefully fixing Annihilator)
Bloodmorph - Play this creature facedown as a [p/t] [color] [creature type] creature. When it takes damage, turn it faceup. (Like an extension of Morph and Megamorph)
Clockstep N - At the beginning of your upkeep, put a step counter on [cardname]. If it has more than N on it, remove all step counters from it and put one on. (For ClockWorld, mostly.)

//////////////////////Also @joemamajoe is helping me update the TOME!
And of course it's @joemamajoe...we should rename him the Tome Knight!
