    Instant - Rare

    Put X flood counters on lands you and your opponents control. For each flood counter put on lands you don't control, you may draw a card and discard a card.

    ____________________________________________________________________________

    Pearl will attempt to bend the water around her, creating a pocket of air she will use to breath and descend downwards.
  • Pearl looked into the well and snorted. The very least the catacombs could do was give her a real challenge. While The Fox and The Vampire were thinking, Pearl jumped directly into the well with a Sploosh! As the cold water enveloped her, she began to corkscrew her arms, bending the water into a small pocket around her head. As a blue mage, she was well versed in the ways of bending water to her will. She twisted her hands again, shooting downwards with a burst of pressure from her feet.
  • Using Control Water, Pearl attempts to find the way out through the well before either of the others can catch up. Not only that, but being in water gives her a massive dexterity advantage as she can maneuver through water faster than most due to her background in blue magic.

    Now that everyone is able to breathe under water, you all dive into the well. And while Pearl is trying to outrun you, you use only a bit of your own magic to speed yourself up and not lose her. At first you just dive down, but then the underwater passage twists and turns and soon you have lost orientation. After a while of swimming you notice that the walls have changed, they are not any longer of stone, but of something else. Something that looks a bit like marble, but is unaffected by the salty water here. Salty water? A problem you will think about later. You follow the passage, but then, it opens up into a large body of water and you realize, that the well-passage is a way into the ocean. Unsure what to do you look at the map-o-matic and Dr. Orion makes some gestures, that could mean you have to dive deeper. Unsure, you look around, and then you realize the horribly truth ...

    The City built on an "island" is in fact build on a gigantic Leviaturtle, and as you look around in awe, you realize that the Leviaturtle seems to be just about to dive, as everything except the top of its shell is completely submerged. But it also doesnt move, like it was frozen in place. And then you get it what Dr. Orion wants to tell you with gestures. You have to dive under the Leviaturtle! Something must be there!
  • For some reasons, I read "The Plane of Terror enters with 13 sleep counters on it. As long as it has a or more sleep counters, it's not a creature." as "The Plane of Terror enters with B sleep counters on it. As long as it has a or more sleep counters, it's not a creature."
  • Curious and somewhat afraid you dive down and down and down until finally you are under the lower shell of the Leviaturtle. And then you see it! In the middle of the shell a structure is attached to the Leviaturtle! Compared to the Leviaturtle it looks really small, but you aproximate its size to that of a small castle. And still the Leviaturtle hasnt moved! Something strange is going on here. You swim towards the building and after a while you arrive there. It looks brand-new like it had been build yesterday. No plants or sea creatures attached to it, no sign of corrosion or decay. You swim around it, but you dont find an entrance, and then you get, the entrance must be below the structure. You dive down and there it is, a small passage leading up into this "building". You swim upwards and suddenly youre above water again. In a large hall, filled with air and in the middle of this hall is creature that looks at you.
    "Ah, there you are. Just in time, as expected..."

    New Quest: This situation is so unexpected, react however you want and create card that represents your reaction.
  • Awe-Struck Resolve

    {2}{W}{U}

    This card represents a moment of composed reaction to the overwhelming presence of the Greater Time Elemental. Whether stunned into temporary caution or swiftly countering the Elemental’s manipulations, it encapsulates the need for split-second resolve when faced with the impossible!

  • Pearl looks at the time elemental, hovering in the center of the building. As the time elemental surveys them, she dives back into the water and towards the head of the leviaturtle. As she reaches its head, she withdraws a syringe with black liquid in it, and will attempt to stab the leviaturtle in the eye with the glistening oil.

    Fun fact! Did you know Mirrodin was infected with a single drop of glistening oil?
  • (And yes, she will hit the pump on the syringe to insert the oil deeper.  Yay)
  • As Pearl Once Again Becomes Phyrexian, @LvB has the option of taking control of Pearl.

    Strangely The Greater Time Elemental does not care about Pearl leaving and her actions. It probably knows already what will happen.
    As Pearl finally reaches the eye and tries to stab the not moving and "frozen" in place Leviaturtle's Eye -which is about 50 times the size of Pearl- she hit hits something like a barrier. And as a blue magical creature, as she touches it, she knows what this is. The Leviaturtle is NOT frozen in place, it is frozen in time by powerful temporal magic! Making it completely immune to everything, but also preventing it from diving deeper into the Ocean and drowning the whole city built on it. As Pearl thinks about it, she realizes how elegant this problem has been solved.
    "Time to have a talk with the Time Elemental", she thinks, while swimming back.

    Only one moment after Pearl jumped back into the water, she is already back at Desmodius and Dr. Orion.
    Somehow amused the Greater Time Elemental speaks again "Dont worry, i only slowed time a bit for you, so you didnt have to wait too long for Pearls return. But it was important that Pearl found out, that the Leviaturtle is frozen in time. And yes, i know you have questions, as always when you are here, but i know them already, so let me explain:
    When The Plane of Terror was created, thats the real name of this city on the Leviaturtle, the Leviaturtle was sleeping and everyone thought it was an Island because only the shell reached out of the water and the rest of the creature was submerged. And so over time the city was built. But then one day the Leviaturtle awoke and while it was still sleepy and almost not moving for some years, people knew it would eventually dive one day and then the whole city would be doomed. So they built this structure under the Leviaturtle as a home for me, so i could trap the Leviaturtle in time, preventing it from drowning the city. But, as there are always consequences for such powerful temporal magic, the Leviaturtles inherent natural magic and my time magic create rifts, or portals, as you call them, transporting most of the time random people here, but from time to time, someone or something is brought here to stabilize this timeline, or improve it or change it. Now i know what you are, but i cant tell you cause that would change this timeline in a way that would destabilize it until it finally collapses. Any Questions?"

    New Quest: A Question of Time
    The Time Elemental turned out to know a lot and seems friendly or at least helpful. Ask it whatever you want and create a card representing your Question.
  • Pearl looks up at the greater time elemental, and scoffs inside of her head. This creature may think it is above Phyrexia, She though, But in the end, nothing is.

    Pearl looks up at the elemental. "What happens if you ever unfreeze the turtle? And what would happen to you if you did?"
  • Card Name: Questions, Questions...

    Cost: {1}{b}{u}{b/u}

    Type: Sorcery

    Rules text: Target creature you control fights target creature you don't control. If the creature you control is sent to the graveyard, you may scry 3 and draw 3 cards, and vise versa for the other player.

    Flavor Text: When life gives you a greater time elemental, you have questions.
  • @LvB
    Dr. Orion scratches his back head as he asked this;
    "But! But! Theoretically, if we were to do something that would cause to timeline changed, wouldn't timeline just split up into two or more and one of them would be the one it never happened at all?"
    (Please see Madman's Interest for this one.)
  • His "Back head"??? He has another head???
  • edited December 12
    @Mellow_MC
    🙂 Back head means behind of the head.

    (If I am implying two heads, I'd say he scratched another back head behind his head.)
  • Ik I just thought it was funny the way it was worded lol
  • @Mellow_MC
    English can be strange sometimes. Either that, or my English grammar just suck.
  • @FireOfGolden I think it’s the first one
  • Temporal Inquiry

    {1}{U}{B}
    Sorcery (Rare)

    Choose one:

    • Paradox Query: Look at the top five cards of your library. You may reveal an instant, sorcery, or legendary card from among them and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
    • Echoes of Truth: Target opponent reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it. That player discards that card.

    Entwine — Pay {1} and put a Time Dilation counter on a creature you control. (Choose both if you pay the entwine cost.)

    "In a world bound by time’s strings, every question shapes reality."

    This card represents Desmodius's and Pearl's need for knowledge and clarity in a moment where understanding temporal intricacies could mean the difference between stability and collapse. Whether searching their own future for answers or forcing the truth from another, Temporal Inquiry embodies the pursuit of crucial knowledge within the fragile weave of time.

  • The Time Elemental looks amused. "Its funny that you always, whenever you are here, first ask thinks, you didnt came for."
    At Pearl: "If the Leviaturtle is released from its temporal stasis, it will take a deep long dive, drowning the city and almost all of the inhabitants. To me nothing would happen. Im eternal and would just go back or forth in time or space."
    At Dr. Orion: "No, thats not how it works. Theres different timelines but everything inside a timeline has already happened. However some events can change a timeline, destabilizing it, but also making it more ... exotic. And in exotic timelines almost everything can happen, even the most unlikely things. However if a timeline is too exotic, it will become unstable and collapse or collide with other timelines and then the strangest things might happen, but always in a way thats bad for everyone. The good thing is, in most timelines almost everyone makes rational predictable choices, which is good for stability."
    At Desmodius: "Now to your Question. The one you didnt ask. Oh, thats interesting. I see ... changes, but cant see their outcome. Fascinating."
    To all of you: "But didnt you come here, because you were looking for a way back into the tower? Well, you found it. I can change your coordinates in time and space and bring you back into the tower. I can even offer you a favour, since i see, that you're not your true selfes. You seem to be somewhat, incomplete, if you want i can replace your bodies with a version of your true self."

    New Quest: Back into the Tower!?!
    Chose one and create a card representing your choice!
    - That sounds good, bring me back into the tower and make me my true self!
    - Just bring me back, but dont change anything.
    - Wait, i have more Questions!
  • Pearl looks the elemental in the eye. "That will not be necessary. I am already compleat in my own way." To demonstrate, Pearl let oil flow from the mechanical glands in her fingers and drip onto the stone floor. "Your offer will not be necessary."
  • @LvB
    The fox blinked at the elemental.
    "Not true self me, eh? How may! <Chuckle> May! <Chuckle> Do you mean by that? Are you going to turn me into an elemental like, like you?! <Chuckle> If that's the case then most inventions I made would be useless to me! I say useless! <Chuckle> Just tell me what is true self and I will find way to make myself true self! <Chuckle> Now that's interesting!"
  • Pearl just looks at Dr Orion, like How did I find my way in with this guy?!
