Here in Brazil we don't have Halloween present in our culture ... there are attempts, but nothing very elaborate and implacable. In 2003 (I think), taking advantage of the date, a project was made to call Day of Saci.
Saci is a popular folklore in much known, if not the greatest, in Brazilian culture.
Here's another Halloweenish one. I like the idea of lava running into noxious swamps and nasty little critters riding the thermals up into the night sky. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/sulfane-wings
https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/a-scarecrows-journey The flavor behind this card is that each year, scarecrows must undertake a series of trials to see whether or not they are worthy to become fully-fledged scarecrows and earn the right to protect a field. This particular card follows an unfortunate scarecrow by the name of Howard Philips, nicknamed Scardycrow, and well... You get the idea.
Squeezing in a final submission! Presenting: The Coiste Bodhar! The Irish Death Coach as piloted by none other than the Dullahan, or The Headless Horseman.
Since @JayfeatherMTG33 suddenly disappeared from the site, I am helping out to judge this challenge for the sake of finishing the circuit challenge. Jayfeather can change my final verdict, but it won't affect the circuit challenge.
I will be typing up a document with feedback on each card that's organized by cardsmith. I have only 36 entries left to judge (the last page), so the results should be in late today or tomorrow.
The time for judging has come! This is the final circuit challenge and there are still a few people in reach of that glorious title of circuit challenge champion! Will it be you?
(I am tagging every entrant since this post concerns every cardsmith that entered this challenge.)
As I'm typing up the post for the winners, all of you may review personalized feedback I wrote up for the 125+ entries submitted to this contest! I attached a document below with all the feedback. Find your username and click on it to get to your feedback.
Some general issues I noticed on many cards:
Joke Cards- Why I am adressing this issue, I don't know, but joke cards do not equal completely broken.
Hybrid designs- When designing a hybrid card it is important that the effect fits into all of the card's possible colors or color combinations. When it breaks on of those colors or color combinations, it breaks the color pie and detracts a lot from your design.
Numbers- You use numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.)when you're talking about...
Life
Damage
The actual numbers in counters (not the amount of counters)
You use words (one/a, two, three, etc.) when you're talking about...
An amount of something that isn't life or damage (like a number of +1/+1 counters to put on something, or something that tracks whenever a number of creatures attack)
Here are some examples of what to do vs what not to do for both of these things:
Incorrect: {1}{r/w} CARDNAME deals 2 damage to any target target and you gain 2 life.
Why: This doesn't work because white doesn't deal direct damage like this and red doesn't gain life.
Fixed: {r}{w} CARDNAME deals 2 damage to any target and you gain 2 life.
----------
Incorrect: Put 2 +1/+1 counters on target creature. You gain three life.
Why: The "2" in this card is wrong. This "2" is talking about an amount of +1/+1 counters to put on a creature, so "2" should be "two". The "three" in this card is also wrong because you are talking about life, which means "three" should be "3".
Fixed: Put two +1/+1 counters on target creature. You gain 3 life.
--------
Incorrect: Target player draws one card and loses 1 life.
Why: When you're only talking about a singular thing (one card, one creature, one counter), it should be "a" instead of "one". Do not confuse this with "one or more" because, at that time, you are talking about more than one thing, which means "one" would remain "one".
Fixed: Target player draws a card and loses 1 life.
---------
I hope these little tips helped you! I am still finalizing the final rankings, so be ready for that within the next day or so!
There's a small typo for @Globert-the-Martian 's feedback where I accidentally said 2 rather than 3 on the feedback. I don't have much time to fix that right now.
Thank you to All entrants and to @JayfeatherMTG33 for hosting and to @shadow123 for judging! I made the top 12! Circuit Points will be awarded shortly!
Congratulations to all of the winners, thank you @shadow123 for judging while @JayfeatherMTG33's taking a break, and thanks to Jayfeather for making the contest in the first place!

I've usually got a whole slew of Halloween themed cards, but I've been crazy busy, so here is my one and only entry.
I have no idea what I was thinking with this one ?
Edit: Slightly changed the wording on the last ability AND changed from Orzhov colors to Rakdos colors.

This one was just for fun. I saw this picture when looking for art for cards and I just thought it was too good to pass by.

Splinterhill Terror by @MemoryHead
The Wandering Widow by @Latinas
Hallowe'en Square by @Suicidal_Deity
Mira, the Ticking Clock by @Usaername
Paranoia by @Globert-the-Martian
The question is, what cards to I cut to get the honorable mentions and winners?
All of these cards were super nicely designed, so I found it difficult to separate them, but I think I've got the winners!
Honorable Mentions:
7th place:
Hijack-a-Lantern by @fire12 !
The pun in the name was quite funny to me! I liked the mechanics too! A card doesn't have to be a joke card to be funny!
6th place:
The Wandering Widow by @Latinas
While the balance seems a little bit skewed to too powerful, this concept is neat! Nice work.
5th place:
Gourdlord by @MemoryHead
This was a fun carcd that enabled itself in a fun way! Nice work.
4th place:
Witch's Broom by @TenebrisNemo
I love the simplicty of this. I was debating with myself over this card's color, but I've come to like this.
3rd Place:
Maw of Abandon by @ningyounkThis was a very interesting desing that appealed to me a lot. It does force you into a somewhat specific playstyle, but this was a really cool card.
2nd Place:
Spagnum Legenyes by @crawdadswelcomeDespite the unconventional wording, this presented a very creative idea that I love so, so much! The art is AMAZING too!
1st Place:
Walking Undead by @AnimistCongrats on your victory! This was totally the type of card I was looking for! Flavorful, balanced and unique too! Nicely done!
This was super fun to judge! Congrats to all the winners and honorable mentions!! Stay safe and healthy .
I made the top 12!
Circuit Points will be awarded shortly!
Congrats to the winners!
