Mystery Box Challenges
What this is
- These are endless and always ongoing, so feel free to ask for a box at any time, especially if you've never tried.
- Post that you want to open a mystery box, and I will open your mystery box. Each mystery box contains a mystery challenge and possibly a goody. These are both randomly selected.
- You must submit your card before opening another mystery box.
- You can open as many mystery boxes as you want.
- New cards only unless I specify otherwise.
- You can always edit.
- The deadline is also a mystery, no one knows when I will select a winner.
- Multiple winners per deadline. . . usually.
- Spotlight friendly.
Rewards, Prizes, and Other Goodies
- Each mystery box has a 50/50 chance of containing a prize or other fun goody.
- Favorites: Whether you win or just open lots of boxes, I award favorites, lots of favorites. If you play the Mystery Box Challenge, you will get plenty of favorites on your cards.

Jadefire's Box
Challenge: Design a creature card with the Legendary subtype that represents a mythical hero from a real-world culture.
Twist: The card must include a new or custom mechanic unique to the hero's story.
Reward: If your card gets 5 or more favorites from the community, I'll favorite 3 extra cards of your choice!

Challenge: Create an artifact card that captures the flavor of an ancient, mystical object with immense power.
Twist: The card must have a drawback to balance its strength.
Reward: If your card includes at least two flavor text quotes from fictional characters, I’ll favorite 5 of your recent creations!

Challenge: Design a planeswalker card for a completely original character, not tied to existing MTG lore.
Twist: Their abilities must synergize with a unique creature type (e.g., something like "Sharks," "Spirits," etc.).
Reward: Completing this challenge unlocks a bonus challenge box for you, containing an extra mystery!

Challenge: Create a multicolored enchantment card that embodies the theme of unity or harmony.
Twist: The card must interact with at least three different card types (e.g., creatures, artifacts, instants).
Reward: If your card uses mana symbols from three or more colors, I’ll give you an extra spotlight in the next deadline highlights!
