Roll Call

It looks like these forums are dead, or at least dying.  Just curious who's even still here, so comment below about how often you typically check in.

  • I usually drop in check for updates about every couple weeks.
  • Once or twice a week
  • I swing by once a week or so
  • Every two days and at the weekend daily.
  • my checks have fallen to weekly
  • I am also sick
  • Couple times a week, recording stories from Tournaments in case the forums do actually vanish like the new admins hinted.
  • @TenebrisNemo wait they actually said they were gonna delete the forums?
  • I usually try to swing by once or twice a week. My activity has gone down as the forum has started dying.

    @TenebrisNemo Wait what?!
  • I check in a couple of times per week. Just in case there’s ever a revival, or if it’s finally dead. They did say they would kill it, and with no link from the main site it’s inevitably going to be discontinued. That is, if things stay the way they are now.
  • I'd check once week, if not daily.
  • Problem is they removed the link from the site... in favor of Discord.
Discord doesn't have the same feel that the forums has. None of the history, it's just a... place.
  • We've also hit 8 likes!
  • WooHoo!
  • I have not checked in for quite a while, but I'll try to do so every few days!
  • Hey, follow up question, for everyone still hanging out here from time to time:

What sort of things in the forum really get you excited?  Is it contests, getting feedback about cards, finding inspiration for your next design?  I'd hate to send new members over to the forums and then not have anything interesting for them to experience once they're here.
  • For me were contests and general chatting about MTG. I really liked the experiment from jpastor
  • I like the contests, but the opportunity to do something is meaningless without the people to engage with it.  The contests were also a chance to help other cardsmiths improve their skills, provided they're judged on objective criteria instead of nebulous personal preferences.
  • I enjoyed the sagas and the opportunity to create a whole world and story with other people. But as @Jadefire mentioned its not worth it to continue writing these stories if there's no one there to participate in therm.
