@Djayhero My wording suggestion is -------- Defender Boneyard -- Whenever one or more creatures attacks you, if Guardians of the Valley is in your graveyard, you may pay {2}{g}{g}. If you do, create a token that's a copy of Guardians of the Valley for each attacking creature. Exile the tokens at end of combat. --------
The card seems op.. I think this should exile it from your graveyard when you use Boneyard ability so that it can't be repeatable.
@TenebrisNemo Something tells me wizards would say this instead of the lessen ability. . . When Fallen Unicorn Rider dies, put a -1/-1 counter on each creature your opponents control.
@jpastor, I would make Fogbank Monastery (or Mountain, as the card text shows) red-white in color because of the Holy Day effect. Also, 'faceup' should have a space in between.
@Gelectrode For reasons unknown, Disqus sign in is down (or at least experiencing errors). What I would've commented there is this: Interestingly, I was just working out a card which had to do with creatures under no players control. I think, perhaps, that the hellkite should be declared as attacking a non-active player each combat (it would be weird if the "attacking player" were being attacked simultaneously). Since he's designed for Commander, it seems reasonable just to make that addition to the rules text - "...attacks a non-active player chosen at random each combat..." As this card is so unique, and difficult to imagine in action, I'm unsure if this helps/hurts balance or function, but I think, at least, it helps to simplify its action. I don't think I have any good suggestion for truncation, but I applaud your "outside-the-box" tact and current resolution.
*ThumbsUp*
P.S. I think your Nephilim might need some wording revision; perhaps even a bit of redesign.
Alright I'm breaking the rules of magic again. I'm trying to make an ability that resolves a spell as soon as it is cast. The rulings of the card would be as follows: 1) Spells cast on the stack of this spell don't gain priority and do not resolve until this spell resolves. 2) Abilities that are activated or triggered on the stack don't resolve until this spell resolves.
I'm trying to take it a step further than a simple "When you cast this spell" ability that many Eldrazi have, and I'm also looking to make it different from Split Second. In other words, you can still activate abilities and cast spells in response, unlike Split Second, but none of them take place until this spell resolves.
There's a lot of these things so I'm just going to drop a link to the two sets. They're a full dual and mono color cycle of commanders built around a mechanic called promote. It goes as follows "Promote: John Doe, Placeholder ( When you cast this spell you may sacrifice John Doe, Placeholder. If you chose to, reduce this card's mana cost by John Doe, Placeholder's mana cost. )"
Essentially emerge but naming the only valid sacs. Also pays for colored mana for now, that could change, though I doubt it. I'm sure the mono color commanders need more work than anything else and it's hard to find 15 sets of 2 pieces of art for this sort of thing, so I used Fire Emblem Cipher cards' art, please don't take these cards any less seriously because of that. The only effect that had was making most everything a human instead of throwing in a different creature type on a couple of them.
@DoctorFro Talgele in commander would probably be too strong with that ability being free and at instant speed, if it's not for commander it's probably fine though. 40 life makes even a couple of payments of 5 life or so not have that dramatic an effect, let alone if you've been gaining life at all. Glim and Quati have very interesting abilities, of which, as I'm sure you're aware, once a big enough creature dies, Quati will probably be losing counters very quickly since the number of +1/+1 it should have will be mirrored to 1/1s until you place them on it without her ability. Twasta is very neat, after all, gustcloak is never bad, but, unless you're using a lot of custom cards, I'm not sure how good her lord ability is.
@DoctorFro OK, He seemed like he might be. Yeah, discarding a card or evening just paying 2-3 mana are things that'll slow him down and not let him run too rampant.
@DoctorFro(For Commander) Reclaim (You may have a standard size sideboard, including this card. You may look at your sideboard and you may play this card from your sideboard by exiling a card from your hand in addition to any other costs.)
Reclaim 2(You may have a standard size sideboard, including this card. You may look at your sideboard and you may play this card from your sideboard by exiling two cards from your hand in addition to any other costs.)
Still, it would be way less difficult if it said If you have three or less permanents named Gravepurged Triplets, the legends rule doesn't apply to them. Otherwise, it's nearly impossible with how the stack works

Sorry, I didn't read it carefully! If you exile the card, I think the card power is ok.
Opinions
So I challenged myself to create one of my own. Thoughts please!
