Prizes
Most prizes are straight forward, and some might seem unfair while others seem strategic. What goes around comes around! So, all prizes earned in this mystery box discussion are useable in any other mystery box discussion as well as this discussion. Secret weapons may be played strategically to upset your opponents.
Scoring
Everything you do in every mystery box discussion all counts towards your all-time mystery box score. You can view your score and rank at: https://mystery-boxes.webs.com/leaderboards
For Conquerors
- Every 10 cards you post across all mystery box discussions earns you +1 point to your score.
- Every 10 prizes you earn and/or receive across all mystery box discussions earns you +1 point to your score.
- Depending on how many cardsmiths you're up against, you may enter into a duel or standard moshpit.
- Every 3 Duels wins you get = +1 point to your score.
- Every moshpit win you get = +1 point to your score.
- You'll earn competitive rating by who you win/lose to as you partake in duels/moshpits. The higher your rating, the more competitive you are. As well, certain ranges of rating provide you with a temporary bonus/deduction to your score.
The top Mystery Boxers (by Score) each year qualify for the Mystery Box Invitational tournament.
Mystery Box Conquerors
This discussion is here for a limited time, to help you sample all the different modes that take place in the Mystery Box Challenges. So feel free to show up out of the blue and claim a conquerors Mystery Box anytime. This discussion consists of a variety of modes all dealing with attempting to take what you want, when you want to.Here's how it works!
- I will post a batch of mystery boxes at random intervals of time.
- When you want one of the mystery boxes posted in the most recent batch, you can show up out of the blue, plant your flag, and attempt to claim it as yours.
- Submit a newly created card for the mystery challenge in the box you are claiming anytime after claiming it. (You must submit before attempting to conquer another box in the Mystery Box Conquerors discussion.)
- You can attempt to claim more than one box in the same batch so long as you follow Step 3.
- If no one else attempts to claim the same box as you by the time the next batch of mystery boxes is posted, congratulations! You've conquered the box, and it's yours and yours alone.
- However, if anyone else wants the same mystery box as you, it becomes contested. There can be any number of cardsmiths all attempting to conquer the same mystery box. Everyone who does enters into a best card wins for that mystery box.
The above information is all you need to get going in this discussion. What follows below is relevant information for anyone interested in the grand scheme of Mystery Boxes.

Mystery Box Batch
Come and Take It!
The Combustible Box contains: (Conquered by @TheRacingTurtle)- [NEW!] A Prismatic Orb: Choose a color. A random challenge in the next batch in this discussion will also be to create a card of the chosen color.

- Prophet's Glasses: When you submit your entry for this discussion, you may have jpastor (favorite -or- destroy) all active multi-colored entries.
- A Mystery Challenge: Create a spell that makes certain other spells cost more.

In the past ... back in 2018 when Bombs were originally a thing... cardsmiths learned the hard way that the longer you hold onto a bomb... the more likely it will blow up in your face, destroying your own stuff... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo......
