Alternate Timeline 2
Hello, everyone. This is a contest about creating cards based on existing legendaries, but shifted to another color and timeline, a la the two cycles from Planar Chaos and the khans from Tarkir (since Tarkir has two timelines and the khans are partially colorshifted between each, I'm counting them).
Rules
Judging will ideally take place starting on February 1st. The first place winner will get seven favorites and a follow, the second place will get five favorites, and the third place will get three favorites. If there are enough entries, the runners-up will get a favorite each.
Example
Rules
- Must be based on a legendary creature from MTG Cardsmith.
- Should be at least partially colorshifted.
- Cards made for the contest must be new (made after 12/31/20).
- I'd prefer cards made on MTG Cardsmith.
- Up to three entries per person.
- You can use up to one of your own creatures as a basis, but there's the possibility of that card's placement at the end being lower than it might otherwise be.

Example
In his original timeline, Ataar is the head of a private historical society, hidden behind several illusions to keep his true identity secret. His ultimate plan is to take control of his home city's ruling council using agents from his society and the secrets he has learned in the city-state's grand library regarding the city.
In another timeline, Ataar is a field researcher for the House of the Two-Moons, a state-sponsored religious and educational society secretly attempting to summon its mysterious god. Ataar explores ancient ruins, sacred tombs, and lost labyrinths in the pursuit of arcane knowledge. (Thanks to @Rayne-Lord for letting me use his card.)

https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/king-birlizatgonIn the existing timeline, Lizat has been long crowned King with Queen Foxirdasaur by his side. Their soul mate cohesion completes them both. He's known as King Birlizatgon. With a loving father in full support of his son's commitment to family, he's been given sovereignty over the four non-Island kingdoms and has been graciously given the gift of flight and might by his father's dying grace. Irdasaur has long been by his side as Queen Foxirdasaur. She's been given gift of motherhood to their rebellious, but enlightening son, Birdoat. With motherhood, she's coalesced her powers into a blissful harmony with the gracious touch of the Sacred Fox of the four kingdoms.
___
In an alternate timeline, King Birlizatgon has been banished to a faraway land by his father. While Prince Lizat's intentions are pure, his father would not allow Lizat's love for Irdasaur to amount to anything in his presence. In search of his true love, Prince Lizat must find his way home from this island, back into the warm embrace of Irdasaur.

In an alternate timeline, Janagard cares only for her own glory. And while still a great hero, she only desires to sacrifice her life to attain eternal Valkyrie-dom, rather than the altruistic ends of her original self.
A character by @Scott_Anderson. In the original timeline, he was some kind of orc leader thoroughly at war with come kind of humans.
My version decided to ally himself with the human tribe and created a good society. I hope it counts since he only changed one part of his colour identity, although I changed both parts of his casting cost.
Alright, guys, the results are in. The contest is over a little earlier than I'd have liked, but with the lack of entries, I felt the time had come for me to judge everyone who'd entered.
First place - @jpastor
I like how your version of Lizat presents an interesting take on Lizat’s lore while also keeping the card relatively. There might be a better way of wording the middle ability, but overall I like it. Lizat and his story almost seems like a character in a cartoon, in a good way.
Since I’m already following you, you get two extra favorites instead, so you get a total of nine favorites for being in first place.
Second place - @Rayne-Lord
I enjoy how you changed Janagard’s background to being from Kaldheim instead of her original plane (Dominaria, going by the set symbol) and how you switched flash for a form of exalted. I think your card could cost a little more, since it seems strong for being only two mana (though she is two colors).
You get five favorites for being in second place.
Third place - @Korandangels
No problem with changing Ozzir’s color identity. It still counts. I really like how the two cards almost mirror each other, but there are small yet noticeable difference that make them distinct. Personally, I think you could switch the white in your Ozzir’s mana cost with the red in his indestructible cost since red isn’t an indestructible color and white is, but other than that it’s a good card.
You get three favorites for being in third place.
All of you guys had really good entries, and it was tough ranking you all. I hope you enjoyed the contest!
I don't think I've ever actually won a contest before!
