    Uh, the AI Voice in the review is weird xD
    Better use your own voice, maybe with some effects on it, but AI voice really aint good with its false pronounciations and strange stops in the middle of the sentence and such.

    And beside that, everyone here is really excited to hear the real jpastor ^^
  • i'm quitting magic - every mtg player hates ai - and my phone is ai - so every time i look at it - I feel like a villain to mtg
  • Personally, i dont hate ai, but that ai voice in the review just wasnt good and it sounds weird. Maybe theres better ai voices out there, i dont know. But a real voice is way better.
  • @jpastor I don't hate AI!  I believe it to be a useful and powerful tool for those that use it responsibly and effectively.  I do believe that there's a lot of terrible garbage that AI spews out, but I also believe that humanity is discerning enough to eventually pull out of the content generating spiral we're currently in and have a new renaissance of sorts where we redefine our expectations on what qualifies as worthwhile in what we consume, leaving the senseless drivel behind and rediscovering content that is meaningful and valuable.  I agree, the AI voice you're using is a little wonky, and I'd certainly hate for one of my favorite people still working these threads to be amongst the senseless drivel left behind.  I support you using your natural voice, but also support you exploring AI options along the way as you see fit.

    @jpastor You're not a villain to mtg just because you use ai, anyway [insert meaningful words etc...]
  • are you still doing this?

    Ive looked it up. The mana cost of token copies is the same converted mana cost as the permanent it has copied. If you have a token copy of a serra Angel, the converted mana cost of the token is five. So the repeat thing works!

    And tokens that are not copies like food tokens or treasure tokens have a CMC of zero. So it would work with permanents that cost 0 mana, like moxes for example.

    And is i understood it, EVERYTHING on this card is an ETB ability. The "AND" in the middle, in my opinion means, if the first ETB trigger is activated, then look if other conditions are met, and if they are another ETB ability triggers that is able to repeat itself.

    It works like this i think?!?

    And YES, this card is completely unplayable xD
    Might be fun though to play it on an official tournament, then call a judge and ask him to explain what the card does ;)
  • Yeah, the card is surprisingly consistent and logical, considering how convoluted it is.  The single "and" being changed to "Then", and getting rid of the more tokens in your graveyard than cards clause, would make it completely functional.  Oh, and you'd have to specify "permanent card type" when revealing the top seven cards, otherwise you're making non-legendary token copies of instants and sorceries on the battlefield, which, I know is addressed in the rules somewhere, but also isn't something ever intentionally built into cards.  It's also really weird that it gives a bunch of combat abilities on an ETB without granting haste, but, you're in Grixis, you can haste it up if you want to take advantage of a vigilant lifelinker in colors that don't get that very often.
  • AI made a card that is surprisingly playable!

  • i have no idea what inspired me to make this card.

  • Five-tastic ^^

    @jpastor ;
    i was wondering if you could maybe review this card ↑
  • @LvB Paradoxical Confluence would make a lot more sense if it just said "other permanents" rather than just satisfying all of it's own conditions.  As it is, it'd be quite a trick to not have it just do all the things.
  • wait, is that an artifact or enchantment?
  • @jpastor ;
    are you still planning on reviewing the cards?
    sorry if it feels like i'm rushing you to do this, that isn't my intention.
