    Thanks for the info. I am only asking about how stuff works because I want to understand it and be more engaged. :) I didn't even realize there was a mystery boxes website, so that definitely helped! Is there a live leaderboard visible somewhere? Or a running inventory of people's prizes (or do we just need to be diligent about keeping track of that ourselves?)

    @jpastor For my pearl prize, would I say like "black pearl" and then you pick a black mythic card from my collection to favorite? Or do I pick the card?

    @JackDraco There's no live leaderboard, only updates at the end of each deadline.  Generally, not enough changes happen on any given day in between deadlines that there's anything significant to see before deadline points are handed out.  The way it goes, only a moshpit win or placing first in a deadline will guarantee a change to your total points in and of themselves, everything else is cumulative.

    As for prize inventory, you can do what Corwinnn and cadstar369 do and keep a running total as a spoiler comment in the discussion whenever something gets added or removed, then you'll have a timestamp in the discussion so you can see when each change took place.

    For the pearl prize, it's the first scenario you described.  You set the initial parameters as to which cards will be under consideration but jpastor gets final pick.

    I always had this question: is it allowed to "abbreviate" the name of a card in its text box?
    Like in the card from @JackDraco where it says "Delyris" instead of "Delyris, the Stormclad". Because if it is possible, it would save me a good amount of space!

    Edit: Clarification question – Does the card need to have a flashback cost that includes a life payment (like this cycle), or just cost life somewhere on the card and also have a flashback cost?

    @SMPrague Yes, you can refer to a legendary creature by just its name rather than its full title like for Aeve, Progenitor Ooze, Anax, Hardened in the Forge, Animar, Soul of Elements

    Could I get some clarity on "create a Disciple"? Does this mean, like, create a creature card with Disciple in its name? Or just create a card that could be considered a Disciple of someone/something? Or does "Disciple" have meaning in the context of Mystery Boxes?

    Edit: Ok, I didn't notice the link to the older challenge the first time. Think I got it now.
