@CrimsonFox your entry still counts; the main duel post is updated whenever jpastor gets around to it (basically). I believe both myself and Jadefire are currently in a similar situation where we have entries posted without our names noted in the main post.
@CrimsonFox Yeah, just claim a duel and it'll be timestamped in the discussion. You may also want to read back a few comments just in case a duel spot has been taken and it hasn't been updated on the main post yet.
Enter your name into one at a time. Must submit a card for your duel challenge before entering into another. Once both spots have been filled, nobody can enter that duel.

@CrimsonFox No luck necessary, cadstar369 makes good cards. I just happen to blow my good ideas in the beginning but there are many more duels left to settle. Wait for the conservation of ninjutsu to kick in.
Good duels @cadstar369, the 8 MV horror one could've gone either way. Not sure if Baron Blazerain is an intentional nod to Firestorm but that was one of my favourite cards from back in the day.
@Jadefire you’re exactly right about Baron Blazerain and Firestorm. I started by looking at Comet Storm for inspiration, but stumbled upon Firestorm and decided that was a cooler and more manageable effect.
@cadstar369 Nice job! I'm a fan of X^2-type scaling effects. Speaking of Mirage block callbacks...
A Mystery Challenge: Create
a Cat Warrior with madness. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/purraj-the-blood-song The concept of the card is a remake of Purraj of Urborg featuring a blend of abilities from the original Purraj and Song of Blood, which references her in flavour text and art and is tied to her through the story. Instead of a milling effect, discard seemed more appropriate and non-chaotic for a black card. The flanking is just another tie back to her origins in Mirage and gives a reason to cast her at sorcery-speed rather than always doing it mid-combat.
@CrimsonFox Don't sell your entry short, wins can come from unexpected places. Half of all my losses last season in the Cardsmith League came from the cardsmith who ended up at the bottom of the rankings, but they were undefeated against me. Since you chose an underrated mechanic to build your card around, I'll choose somewhat of an obscure mechanic for mine for fun.
You've got a solid entry, I never would've thought to give a Baloth flying so originality points there and it's very reasonably costed for what it does. One thing that I'll point out is that Baloths only exist by name in Magic. There's no Baloth creature type, they're all Beasts.
I'm sure it was another close one @cadstar369. Perhaps it came down to our individual readings of the challenge. I interpreted win-con as a card that can singlehandedly win you the game against a single opponent with as few constraints as possible, so I made Mindwrack Inquisitor a "just add mana" card. As long as you can produce 23 {c} and 15 {b}, you can take someone from seven cards in hand to zero and make them lose 21 life. As powerful as Baron Blazerain is, its abilitiy is limited by the number of available targets on the battlefield. It's a great board wipe but in a 1-on-1 match, it's much harder to one-shot your opponent, even with infinite mana. I guess that wasn't your goal as you stated you made the card for commander and having 19 other targets in a multiplayer game is actually reasonable.
