    Allarah, Sky God looks absolutely incredible! A powerhouse for white and blue devotion with a token engine that spirals into blink shenanigans? Plus, the draw synergy with +1/+1 counters makes it feel dynamic and rewarding to play. A great way to show off some unique dragon flavor too!

    What inspired Allarah’s design? It feels mythically grand, like a tribute to epic skies and godly might! Also, no worries about the missing artist—it's easy to fix. 😊

    And @Lurisauri, Heliod Sun-Crowned life/aura synergy sounds like a potent combination. Do you run any infinite combos in the deck, or do you focus more on steady value?

  • @jpastor in this deck I'm focusing on getting Heliod as big as possible with auras and then take each opponent out of the game one by one through commander damage. So I'm boosting him through his +1/+1 counters, all the auras I have in this deck and once he is big enough I just give him protection from all colors through Spectra Ward. It's simple but it works

    And I would be also interested in the design of Allarah. His name sounds a bit arabic

    Humility: Everything is 1/1 without abilities
    Living Plane: Lands are 1/1 and lose the ability to tap for mana because its an ability
    Island sanctuary: I dont draw cards anymore while the enemy still does and can only be attacked by flyers/islandwalkers which is a creature ability ... oh, wait, no abilities xD

    Let the enemy draw their library and lose without being able to do anything xD
    March of the machine just in case enemy has a lot of mana artifacts. Energy Flux works great as well. Or Drop a Pendrell Mist, that one is really evil when enemy has no mana

    Btw. there is a cheaper alternative (in money) for living plane, called Natures Revolt. It makes all lands 2/2 creatures.

    The game could not continue if every land instantly went to the graveyard, since unless you were running Omnath and could keep all of your floating mana, most mana rocks you would have would be colorless. Unless you had a ton of mana rocks and cheap spells its basically an instant game over.

    As for Allarah, it's cool to hear that the name comes from one of Mellow_MC’s book characters! It does have that melodic, almost mythic feel that fits an Azorius-themed dragon token commander perfectly. Azorius tokens and draw are such a niche but rewarding archetype and tying it together with dragons makes the concept shine. I love the creative spark behind that design.

    Your combo deck sounds deviously hilarious! Living Plane, Humility, and Island Sanctuary create such a frustrating lock, and your breakdown of how each piece interacts is brilliant. Adding Pendrell Mists for extra spice is downright evil—turning lands into creatures and taxing them is pure chaos.

    The suggestion of Kaervek, the Spiteful with Living Plane is so absurd it’s genius. Instantly nuking every land would be catastrophic—essentially a soft lock unless someone has some truly unique tech ready. Nature's Revolt is a great budget alternative to Living Plane, though it doesn’t have the same brutality when paired with Kaervek.

    You’re right—if every land goes to the graveyard instantly, most players are toast unless their deck is built specifically to operate in such extreme conditions. Unless someone is playing artifact-heavy strategies or has Omnath, it’s effectively game over. A wonderfully evil suggestion for sure!

  • My friend has a Kinnan alternate win con deck that can win in more than 20 ways. It would be fine with lands going to graveyard, because mana rocks annd dirks are the most important thing.

  • The one hiccup is that it was a three player game (not enough people around) and since I didn't have a deck at the time since i was starting out, I was playing a borrowed standard deck. But somehow I almost QD'ed my "unkillable" friend with sneaky flying ninjas.

Flying ninjas slipping under the radar to deal absurd damage is such a fun and sneaky way to challenge a deck that’s otherwise sitting pretty behind mana rocks and alternate win cons.

    It’s moments like that that really make Commander shine—where even the underdog (or a borrowed deck) can turn the tide with clever plays. Borrowed deck or not, you clearly know how to pilot your way to victory. What ninja cards were you using, or was it more about surprise synergy with the Standard deck?

  • Ninjas with their Ninjutsu ability can be really evil. And if combined with the right planeswalker (Kaitu) a ninja deck is REALLY powerful.
  • Ninjas are so nice to play, I love them. I have a ninja commander deck with all Kaito's (not Kaitu) and it's such a nice deck to play with these sneaky ninjas. The ninjutsu abilities makes this deck so evil, because you never know what actually hits you if you don't block

    A white/blue/black Ninja Deck with some selected legendary creatures or planeswalkers can be devastating.
    As for white, just add Wandering Emperor, Eternal Wanderer, Sunfall, Raise the Past and for black Ashiok and Kaya because exiling is fun xD
    And with Planeswalkers in there, opponent must destroy them, meaning they waste damage on them instead of you.

    Or just add a Snailesh Norn ... ahem ...
  • Wait does the damage your opponent takes scale with the amount of damage your opponent does to you? or is it just one no matter what.
