As your Bard sneaks on, he enters a cargo hold. He's now a stowaway. As he enters the cargo hold, he notices a couple other stowaways tucked in the corner... Though they noticed the door open, they do not see you since you are wearing your cloak.

    • Keep the cloak on and ignore them?
    • Take your cloak off and let them know you're not a threat?
A Mystery Challenge: Create an Artifact that adds two different colors of mana.

Nibbling at the leaves... they taste bitter, but Monkey knows they are non-toxic. The effects will help reduce the swelling eventually.

Monkey is now back on track. He's got a decision to make though... If he mistakes his bearings, then he might head in the wrong direction.

Good thing your monkey has a good conscience helping it navigate. Which will you choose?
    • Head Northwestward along the path.
    • Head Southeastward along the path.
    Choose a mystery challenge:
    • Create a cursed card.
    • Create a Gorgon creature.

    @Tonysparks
Believing he is heading for water, Ogre tries running towards the lake in the far distance. Dummy. He steps on a thorn bush and tumbles and summersaults to the ground.

YOWWWW. He's fine though, no injuries result. Back to a casual stroll he goes after 5 minutes of getting back up.

    Choose a mystery challenge:
    • Create a spell that's ability starts with "You and target opponent each flip a coin."
    • Create an equipment with Equip 0 (0: Attach to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery.)
    • Create a four-mana creature with power/toughness 2/2.
    • Create a creature with flash and power/toughness 0/0.
Your ogre comes across a weird rock. Under the rock, there's a hissing sound... he can't see the source, but he does spot a cool, old fossil under the rock. What will you do?
    • Reach in and grab the Prize 99 - A Cool Old Fossil: You may exchange an old entry from this deadline to submit 2 new cards for this box's challenge.
    • -or-
    • Create a card that represents the source of the hissing.
Ogre circles the rock and finds another cracked opening, this one with no hissing sound. Wedged in the rock is some gold . Choose one -

    • Prize 20 - An Air High Five: Guarantee a prize in the next mystery box of target cardsmith.
    • Prize 113 - A Bundle of Challenges: You'll get a bundle of 2-5 mystery challenges when you cash this in for the Mystery Box Challenges.

    @Corwinnn, interesting choices you've made.

First, on a vengeance, your Arachnae speeds around the campsite looking for someone to impale. Nobody is around. Oh dear...

Exploring some of the huts, it appears as though there's plenty of stuff lying about, but where is everyone at?

Not even a child to stab.

There's a couple of items in here and in there. Your character browses some, including what may very well be fake gold... but it's lying in a pile with what appears to be real gold... you can't quite tell as it's been a long time since you've laid your eyes on either. Take the brighter of the two or the darker of the two?
    • Prize 73 - Fools' Gold: Name two cardsmiths that have submitted an entry. I will randomly pick 1 of their entries each to partake in a 1vs1 duel.
    • -or-
    • Prize 96 - X Favorites: Where X is the number of favorites you received on your most recent card other than your entry (X=?)
Exploring the campsite/village... it's not very large... only a few huts, some of them elevated with a ladder or staircase leading up to them. You spot a couple paths leading away. You'll need to decide which one you'll eventually use as a getaway in case things go south.
    • North Exit - Wide, open, well-trodden, lightly wooded
    • West Exit - Somewhat cluttered with forest and rocks
    • South Exit - Well-trodden, but darkened and heading into thicker forest.
As you're walking around one of the huts, you stop dead in your tracks as you spot an extremely large Baloth... it's facing away from you, bent over, eating what looks like one of the Elves you were after.

Now it's clear, the village fled when the Baloth entered.

Create a Baloth creature that's more evasive and tactful than trampling and overpowering.

You're faced with an open-ended choice question. What will you do?
  • It's been an eternity since I last did my spellweb, so I'm pretty sure it's alright if I make a new one, right @jpastor?
  • Yeah sure. Wipe the slate clean @Zaheer_The_Grim
    I await your common creature!

Edited, this dude is much cooler:

    https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/soaring-musician
  • My exit strategy is South. More forest and trees make it easier for me to elude and ambush anything that follows me.

    Charging Baloth

I scan the area to see if any of those wretched elves are mucking about or planning to attack the Baloth, if there are, I attack them. If not, then I make my way south.

    • Prize 73 - Fools' Gold: Name two cardsmiths that have submitted an entry. I will randomly pick 1 of their entries each to partake in a 1vs1 duel.
I choose @Tonysparks and @Jadefire as they were the prior two entrants before me.
  • Mystery Challenge: Create an Artifact that adds two different colors of mana.
    Alexandrite Orb

I shall take my cloak off, revealing my (mostly) harmless self to the other stowaways. Companionship can be found in all places on a journey. :)

You've been awarded a Glyph: You can cash in a glyph to swap storylines to your second character.

As you finish exploring the camp, you come across a handful of Elf Warriors who had been quietly sneaking back in to perhaps fend off the beast. You engage in battle. Two fall before one stabs you in the back. You're able to grab one of their weapons now. As you finish off the remainder of the gang, the Baloth shows up. It's not too much larger than you, and you have the height advantage. Using the trees around you, you're able to dodge the lunging strides of the beast. As you perch on a tree branch, your caught by surprise as the beast jumps and severs the branch you clung too. As you fall down onto your back, the beast gets a good swipe on your body, gashing you deeply. You spray your web in its face to get it off of you and immediately move to impale it in the chest. A clean strike, all your force and might sends the spear through the heart of the beast and out its backside. It's falls on its side and dies.

Severely injured now and weaponless, you can:
    • Head back to the village and look for bandages.
    • Continue down the South path.
    Which will you choose?

A Mystery Challenge: Create a creature that has a group of creatures in the artwork.

@jpastor, I'll pick the bottom three, Tan (1), Bright Green (1), and Pink (1). And you can pick the prize, I don't really care much.

    @jpastor

    My submissions

    Create a four-mana creature with power/toughness 2/2

Shivan Dragons are so versatile for challenges like this, this would be highly broken if used right imo.

Create a card that represents the source of the hissing

This day was full of surprises for Arwin, first the small crack turned out to be an underground cavern, then the pit of snakes was actually a giant spider, but the biggest surprise came when he realized he had left his sword at his grandma's house last evening.
