  • As you're about to hop over the log, you notice there are several booby traps along the ground and trees... one looks like a hidden hole.. another looks like a foot trap. There may be more that you can't see.

As much as I hate these elvish scumbags, I'm in no condition to charge headlong into an ambush. Besides, spiders tend to be patient and plan, and I plan on returning to kill more of them another day. For now I will...
    • Stay along the main path and head farther south.

Create a card that untaps a creature you control.

    Sensor Webs

But what I'm really doing is going down a little further and following the path from the trees just off the path. When I get tired I'll climb high and rest or look for a cave. I am not walking on the path.
  • @Jadefire

Monkey has been on the northwestward path for at least a day now. He's covered a great distance, stopping only for fruit and sleep. This path has been good to him, not much to see other than dense vegetation, but nonetheless, no major obstacles or encounters.

He comes to a halt in the path however, there's a steep canyon with a bridge that's been broken. It was probably damaged by the storm. Speaking of which, Monkey notices the skies thickening and darkening overhead. Possibly just rain, but maybe another tempest.

You have no choice but to head to the right... the left is blocked by jagged rocks and looks like the rubble from an old rockslide. It's hard to see what's leftward, so you turn to you Caution perk, and head toward the right. The path stops being a path as you continue along the canyon rim, looking for a way to cross, but it's still trekkable. There's a small gap in the canyon that's blocking your path... but the trees are close enough together on either side of the gap to swing to.. You continue along...

As you land across the gap atop a tree, you spot an old ruin of sorts. Hopping down, your Curiosity perk engages in full, and you check the ruins out immediately. It's real small... looks like maybe the foundation for a couple old mortar huts. Rummaging through some of the dirt, you dig up an old clay sculpture. Examining it, it looks like an Elvish Warrior of sorts, as you deduce by the pointy ears and a spear it's carrying. As you pick it up, it shatters in your hands, cutting your palm a little. Nothing super painful here, but it's the same palm as your injured wrist.

You'll need to find some clean water to rinse it off and then wrap it to protect from infection. In the meantime, it's best if your monkey becomes one-handed... to continue to heal your wrist and avoid further complications with your palm.

Prize 84 - Clay Sculpture: Cash this in when you think I'm bored, and I'll build a card named after you.

Challenge: Create a creature card that's an Invoker.
  • @jpastor, I choose all of them except for the teal one.
  • @Tonysparks

Challenge: Create a card with water in the artwork.

Ogre makes his way to the body of water he spotted! Happy day! He jumps in and instantly cools off, taking big gulps of water!

    "MMMM. Salty."

He stops thrashing about when he hears someone call out "You there!"

He turns around to see an odd looking farmer fellow standing on the shore with a pitchfork.

"What are you doing in my pool?" He demands.

Your ogre has some choices here:
    • Respond with: "OH? WATER? YUMMY!" and drink some more water.
    • Respond with: "I THIRSTY. YOU MEAN," and splash the man.
    • Say nothing and stay in the water.
    • Say nothing and swim away, making for the other side of the pond.
    • Get out of the water and attempt to hide behind the rock with the crack in it.
    • Get out of the water and attempt to harm the man with your club.

    @cadstar369

As you remove your cloak, one of the two notices you. You start to say "Don't be startled..." but one of the two stowaways, a mother, charges at you with a knife, thinking you must be a port authority.

Catching you off guard, she lands a good gash into your forearm. You defend and push her away, saying "Please stop! I'm not here to..." She tries lunging at you again, this time you guys tangle, the knife flies away, you both crash to the ground and she immediately stops moving. She's smacked her head against an object.

Stunned by what just happened, you check to see if she is still breathing, but can't tell. She doesn't move... you wait a minute as you wipe sweat from your forehead.

You look over to the corner to see a small child crouched and crying softly. You decide to put your cloak onto the woman's body, making her invisible to the child, still unsure if she is knocked out or worse.

You sit in an opposite corner from the child as you gather your senses back.
You've unlocked a new perk: Self-Defense: You're life is guaranteed to not be threatened by 1-on-1 attacks from others.
You look over towards the child, noticing that the mother and child were in the middle of a meal. Some food was still leftover on the ground. There was nothing you could have done to prevent this, you reassure yourself. She attacked you. She mistook you for someone else. She didn't listen. It was an accident.

These thoughts flow through your mind as you feel the ships engines begin to rev up. The vibration knocks over some luggage next to you. One case slams open as it hits the ground. Rummaging through, you come across 10 coins, which you don't hesitate to scavenge and pocket. You pack the rest back in the luggage and put it back up where it fell from, along with the other cases that fell.
A Mystery Challenge: Create a creature that creates a food token.
Prize 63 - Leftovers: When you cash this in, you'll get a random prize from the last batch. A batch is 2+ mystery boxes. Can't be used if only 1 prize in the batch.
Prize 22 - Prize (Draft): You may activate this draft at any time. The mystery challenges will be assigned to each cardsmith requesting a box, but the prizes will be up for grabs, first come, first serve.

You look around you at the crowd, half of whom seem to be waiting for something, while the other half have already carried along with their day.

"I fell. What's it to ye?" Your guy starts verbally antagonizing anyone starting at him.

    They all slowly walk away.

    "Stubborn lads."

He finds a place to sit quietly, and begins looking for more birds...

Please pick a non-premium prize of your choice!

@jpastor I also recall that I did not submit my last prize and I'm feeling pretty devious so I choose Big slap and I slap @Jadefire (Floodtide invoker) , @Corwinnn (sensor webs)  and @cadstar369 (midnight sneak)

    1. A Really Big Slap (Slap up to 3 target entries.)
  • Drat! Not sure what that does, but... Drat!
  • *Picks up the proverbial gauntlet* Challenge accepted!
  • @Corwinnn make a better entry than the slapped one

Your owner seems nice enough, but he's not piloting this Vehicle. Nobody is flying it. There are no windows either.

Next thing you know, you are getting up and exiting the Vehicle with your owner atop a large landing platform surrounded by extremely tall trees.

You make your way down with your owner into a facility beneath the platform. He takes you to a room that looks like a shop with lots of gadgets. Your owner looks at you and says, "Go ahead. Pick one."

Looking around the room at all the different pieces of equipment...

Create an Equipment for your character. This can be anything you'd like: weapon, parts, armor, implants, upgrades, etc.

Your owner also orders you some liquids and a new energy source. You'll be good as new soon enough...

    @Corwinnn
Farther south you go... Miles since you've left the village. No sign of intelligent life anywhere. It's nighttime now. You start to hear some sounds in the distance... Could it be???

You exit the woods and stand atop a hill... peering down into a valley with a city in the distance.

Carefully, you make your way into the city. Checking to make sure nobody here is Elven... they are not. You keep to the shadows and make your way into what appears to be an underground section of the city. Here you come across a maze of corridors and passageways. You pass a few Rats, a couple smaller, lesser Spiders, and a handful of Snakes and Insect creatures. Not sure where you are, you end up in a large underground chamber with several makeshift shops and vendors. A couple characters snicker at you as you pass, but they seem frightened of you, while a couple don't seem to mind your presence.

A vendor stops you, "A Bone Spear? Let me see that there, spear."

Willy-nilly, you showcase your spear to the vendor.

"I will trade you for this," the man says. "Please, have your choice: this item here is highly acidic. It will serve you well... or... this item here I pulled from the back of a raging Gorgon... or... This is a part of a strange object. I'm not sure what it does, but maybe you can figure it out.... or.... have you ever worn something like this before? It'll come in handy."

Create an Artifact that's your choice of item from the above.
