Whats your Path to Exile?
Ahh yes. Path to Exile. A staple in many formats. But we're about to grab our staple removers and remove that spell from the list and create the new and improved... Path to Exile.
It's simple:
- Make a spell that exiles a single permanent. One permanent type only though (creature, land, etc.), unless you give it a major downside.
-Make it 2 mana or less. If you make it 2 mana make it 2 colors please.
-Give it a downside if its 1 mana, and an upside if its 2 mana.
-Make it rare level or uncommon level. No more. No less.
-Don't forget flavor! Add flavor text if you can and use awesome art!
-Of course please use correct mtg terminology!
-You may use old cards this time around. But they should follow the rules!
Remember, your spell should be powerful enough to match, and even replace staple removal spells. But not absolutely broken that it is banned. I haven't decided on an end date for the competition. Good luck and get smithing!

Should've been uncommon or rare but I'm past it now
If you want, I can change it. I really actually meant it to be an uncommon and just completely forgot to change it
Cheap removal spells are essential for all kind of decks, but it's difficult to make it balanced!
This is an old card that I made with Corwinnn.
I've taken the "single permanent" clause to mean "single permanent of your choice", if that Fuddles the parameters of the contest a bit too much I apologize.

Lore: So this is a very devastating blast, powerful enough to kill, but then everyone would learn of similar spells. If no such spells could be cast, since it had already been defended against, they would just be recycled for further purposes.
