Rise of the Gods
This is a contest to see what people on MTG Cardsmith would do to make a god, you can't use the same design ideas as the amonkhet or theros gods.

I know it's a rayquaza (pokemon) but it just fit the bill for this idea.
If I were to make a new kind of god for MTG, I'd make it so that the card more or less looks like the pre-lorwyn planeswalkers Character cards (original weatherlight series planeswalkers and such were depicted like this) but still more akin to a creature rather than a planeswalker (can't suddenly spawn them even worse than wotc is currently doing)
The immortal mechanic also seems fitting, given that gods should be just that: immortal. so it simply is the manacost +2 in colorless for each god xD
Taken from the Nehwonian Mythology of Leiber's Lankhmar, birds faithful to Tyaa coat their claws in the juices of poisonous berries. She is often worshiped by thieves and assassins.

This is a concept that I will be using for gods in my set.

Yes, as most gods have been legendary. But it isn't required in the least.
My new format of god includes worship, to show that if you neglect to worship your gods by tapping your creatures every day, your god stops helping you and sends a plague upon your people.
It also includes the ability Chosen, which is usually a tap ability that targets a creature that worships your god the most, and that creature, the chosen one, sends a blessing from your god.
