@RandomFandom Thanks for the feedback. It's been a while since I last did anything with this set (or on Cardsmith in general), but I recall that I did want some synergy with the Hex ability. However, I think that could still be done with the alterna…

@jaceberlin For my other cardsmith, @Ranshi, may I request a favorite for: Possessive Geist: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/possessive-geist-3

@jaceberlin Cool. May I request favorites for: Mirri, Baleful Evincar: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/mirri-baleful-evincar High Inquisitor Kedrik: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/high-inquisitor-kedrik Jarana, Pride Matriarch: https://mtgcardsmith.…

@jaceberlin Wow, thanks! Is now the time to request favorites?
-
@RohanDragoon You're welcome!

@Rayne-Lord Thanks! Jamshed doesn't seem overly powerful, especially considering the casting cost and legendary status. One tiny note is that the comma after "enters the battlefield" could be removed, but that's all. As for Bedu Sand-Captain, I thin…

@Liwg Anytime.

My fourth tribe and mechanic: Blue-Black Warlocks with Hex. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/kulira-coven-high-magus Hex (Whenever a permanent an opponent controls becomes the target of a spell you control, this creature hexes.) Hex is a triggered a…

@Liwg Romilda makes for a good, strong aggro card. Her abilities fit very well within Red-White, while her casting cost, legendary status, and size are good balances to her power level. One tiny note is that there needs to be a comma after Faeries, …

@LordTachanka123 Ah, I see. Nice.

@LordTachanka123 I'm not quite clear on the phrasing of Recruit. Do you have an example of how it would be used? Also, I like your Cultivate mechanic. I can't think of many mechanics that use lands, so that's definitely a space ripe for development.…

@MTG_Sappy For Pride Counters? Kind of. After some thought, I decided to go with the middle road of having some cards rely on having certain numbers of pride counters and others rely on spending them, so kind of a mix between experience counters and…

@shadow123 Thanks! I use Volley in the sense of a volley of projectiles launched at a target. In flavor terms, creatures tapped with a Volley ability could be seen as assisting an attacking creature by providing cover fire.
-
@LordTachanka123 What are the other two?
-
@LordTachanka123 Thanks. I like your Imagine mechanic. It's like a scaling version of Kicker, and there's a lot that could be done with it.

@Rayne-Lord Anytime. The repeatability is definitely a factor to consider, but tapping helps to balance that by limiting the ability to 1/round under normal circumstances. If it still seems a bit OP, you could up the cost by 1 mana.
-
@Rayne-Lord Meditative Mullah seems fine power-wise, and it looks like pretty good support for Ordain. And Pharaqan doesn't seem OP either. I can think of other low-cost permanent bounces, such as Unsummon and Disperse. This one has the balance adva…

@murkletins Thanks. I included a link below each card. May I request favorites for: Kjolf, Wilds-Marshal: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/kjolf-wilds-marshal Moxus, Gem Artisan: https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/moxus-gem-artisan-1

@LordTachanka123 I particularly like Shadow's Delirium. I think your Imagine mechanic is really cool. It's like a version of Kicker for scaling a spell's effect. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/pride-queen-jarana https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/dest…

@shadow123 Ah. And you are absolutely right. @Fantastickill7 My bad. Nice card. White isn't known for large non-Angel creatures, so this one's interesting. I like the conditional protection effect for creatures, and I especially like the tokens. Tho…
-
@shadow123 Nice card. Low-cost 1/3 is a good, solid early-game defender, and I like the ability to drain opponents when you incur losses in combat. Does the triggered ability function only when it's a creature? Also, I have the third tribe and mech…

I've determined the other two tribes for my prospective set, and I have a mechanic for one of them. The third tribe is Red-Green Archers with their mechanic, Volley. https://mtgcardsmith.com/view/kjolf-wilds-marshal The mechanic works as follows:…
-
@Temurzoa I agree with @shadow123. That looks like a fun mechanic to play with, and one you could do a lot with. Thank you to you and @Liwg for your feedback.

@shadow123 Thanks! Congratulations on your Song of the Heavens making the Popular list!

@LordTachanka123 Pride counters are like energy counters. They are placed on players, and what they do depends on the card that interacts with them. Reminder text would only be helpful if they did the same thing in every instance, which they don't. …
-
@shadow123 The Cat mechanic is pride counters. They are placed on a player by some spells and abilities, and the number of pride counters a player has can influence the effects and abilities of spells that player controls. Following some feedback on…

@shadow123 Here are some examples of how Possess might be supported in Common. What do you think? Also, I have another mechanic for the Cats in the set. After I make a couple more cards that use it, would you like to have a look? (I don't know w…
