Huh. Defender and first strike have been together plenty but apparently not defender and double strike. That's pretty strange since it has been keyworded forever now...
Here's my entry, kinda like the card from the set Born of the Gods: Charging Badger, that card was awesome, so i made my own twist on it. surely the cutest is the bestest?
I know its not anything special, but I'd rather have good flavour text and a normal, non-OP card which could be available in boosters if it wasn't too cute.
@modnation675 Wouldn't protection from you stop you from being able to attack and block with him? Not to mention target him with pump spells or equipments
I believe that's correct. It would need to be a keyword ability as opposed to an ability word. Basically, if the word is italicised then it's not a keyword, so stuff like morbid, hellbent, landfall and inspired which are all ability words.

Flavor text, you say? Ask and ye shall receive.
And a French Vanilla entry:
Can we use non-vanilla keywords? If not, what is the extent of vanilla keywords? ... as I'm interested in uploaded something similar to the following!

Are you sure those count as French Vanilla? Does French Vanilla allow keywords such as Painborn and Promote?
They aren't printed in MTG so I'm assuming it's not! (That's what seemed to be implied by Bellycuss' comment!)
@Bellycuss said "It can be any keyword! Wether or not it's real!" so I'm assuming that includes custom keywords. If not, I'll take them down.
Yeah, you're right! I didn't notice that comment.
Thanks for keeping thy in line!

You could still attack and block with him. But yes, you can't target him!
Edit: Sorry, I was sleeping up until 30 minutes ago!
Yes, it does as it is a keyworded ability!

Perhaps not evergreen, but never used together before.
