1. Will the card creators have to follow New World Order?
http://mtg.gamepedia.com/R&D#New_World_Order
2. I really like the not really well known Eventide races-Field Hags, Noggles, Swamp Hags, Hobgoblins, Duergars ("Evil" Dwarves), and Selkies (Seal Merfolk)
So, well, can the card creators use them?
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/hypnotic-selkie
Um, yeah, it's for Floraga...
Do the cards have to be new? We're interested in helping with your set as KJMartin's team has been quite lately.
Edit: Can't wait until you start doing stuff on city!
We like the art, as it has a beautiful watercolor effect!
@modnation675 No, they don't have to be new.

@Rednaxela It's fine. I was going to make cards anyway.
I'm back to help you especially since I submitted a u/r card for the contest so how about
the r/u outcasts are a group of cultist who use mana to change creatures and the battlefield their mechanic could be Shift- When you play a card with converted mana cost equal to the creature with shift you sac the creature and you change the spell. their name The Xensol
http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/xensol-summoning-circle
tell me is it completely stupid it probably is
It's not a bad idea. It just seems a little confusing in terms of it's formatting and takes a lot of space on the card.
You do realize that the image you used depicts the cultists from Terraria, right?
@Undella2 The more you know!(I didn't i thought it looked cool.)
Let me know what you think. Some of them might be a little op.
Using http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=74250 rules text i simplified the ability.

@Rednaxela
So what do you think?
And can you guys use the mtgcardsmith set symbol so that if I add any of your cards to the set they will have the same set symbol as the others. No need to remake any you've already made for that though.
I actually like your idea a lot although I reformatted it as follows!
Shift - Whenever you cast a spell with the same converted mana cost as [Card Name], you may exile it. If you do, [Specific Effect].
Hopefully Rednaxela likes this as it reduces card text for the ability!
I have a mechanic you may like called Tactic.
Tactic (Players may look at cards exiled by this card. If this card is exiled face up, you may turn it face down as an instant.)
Here is a card using it as an example. This mechanic allows more flexibility with effects using undefined periods of time or exile mechanics! (You may change the name if you like.)
It is a cool mechanic though. But also very confusing, I might have to read it a couple more times.
For example if you look at the lore of the Gruul Clans, you can kind of tell that they are outcasts from the rest of Ravnica, yet they are still considered a "faction".
Anyway, I was thinking of making some faction-neutral cards.
Like, another example incoming, the "gateless" from Ravnica.
Also, this setting is really similar to Ravnica's
Like, just throw in a Jace and a powerful demon,
and BAM-
-Instant Ravnica
(Just like instant noodles, but cooler)
@modnation675
thanks for your help it's always the wording so to answer your questions first i responded to then on the http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/xensol-raiding-sect
but if your to lazy- first the head priest and http://mtgcardsmith.com/view/cultist-of-shifting-mountain are back stabbers that kill one another so that joke is they keep killing each other (I had to go so off to make head cultist now) second the exile is for more important effects like the magus cycle(of the coffers, will, disk, tabernacle, moon, bazaar) who have effects like time twister but have to die to get rid of the mana (exile) but their ancient god (wink wink) cares about exile and allows you to recast your exile by sacrificing creature with the same mana cost (still in the works) while other effects (dragon fodder, act of treason, clone) only send it to the grave because such paltry effects are not worthy of Xensol lord of the twisted mirror(name also in flux.)
thanks off to make cards now.
(edit)also it's mana cost not converted mana cost like http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=74250
you need the exact mana cost color and all stops opness.
The nature factions all live in the forest and each has a critical role there. The city factions all live in the various city-states. On the other hand, the outcasts wander the plains or live in the mountains and attack the other factions.
I wasn't planning on including factionless, but you can still make a couple if you want, just don't go overboard because there's no guarantee they'll be added.
Okay, then I might make some more faction-aligned cards later then.
Also-
@HenryTheHatter--I would recommend some formatting tweaks to your cards. They're great and all, but I noticed some name mess-ups (Switch the text on the head priest and the cultist of shifting mountain) among other things. And, uh, If you are going to make the new creature type "cultist", either don't and switch them to wizard, shaman, or cleric, or turn the CULTIST of shifting mountain into a cultist.
Just sayin.
So...
first as above that was originally a mistake turned funny idea that the two cultist kill one another two the reason the cultist are all over the place is that first in mtg there is no cultist and they have been shamans wizards and clerics so because they're outcast i thought they could have multiple types because their only loosely united under their horror/demon/whatever masters (still haven't decided) but thanks for the criticism.
Happy?
Well, I'm happy.
Everyone's happy.
Yay...
